1696 Darby Lux was born on January 30. [1]

1700 Twins Anne and James Saunders, children of Robert and Rebecka Saunders, were born on March 16. They were baptized on August 13, 1701 in Anne Arundel County, Maryland [2] [3], also recorded at Westminster parish.

1722 Anne Sanders and Darby Lux were married on May 16, at All Hollows Parish, Anne Arundel, Maryland. [4]


1750 Darby Lux offered a reward for a lost boat.

Lost in the Bay, off the Bodkin Point, at the Mouth of Patapsco, on Thursday the 27th of September last, in the Night, a ietlaugcr, 20 Ft in length, and about 3 feet in width, a Forecastle, and a Locker in her Stern, her upper Works Painted red, her Stern faced with Iron, with a Hatchet and Lead Line in the Stern Locker.

Whoever takes hcr up, and dclivers her to Capt. William Sanders, at the Mouth of South River, shall have Thirty Shillings Reward, or whoever will give Information where she is, shall have Ten Shillings Reward. Darby Lux

1750 Darby Lux died on October 14. [6]

1753 The will of Robert Saunders Senior was dated August 18 and named daughter Ann Lux. The probate date was July 20, 1755. [7]

1771 Ann Lux, widow of Baltimore County, and William Lux merchant and eldest son of Darby Lux deceased of Baltimore Co. sold land to William Saunders Jr. Gent., of Anne Arundel County, on December 24. Whereas Robert Sanders by deed of gift on 19 November 1734 did grant to Darby Lux and Ann his wife part of a certain tract or parcel of land called Pleasant Prospect containing 67 acres. Whereas Darby Lux did during his lifetime sell to William Sanders the said 67 acres for 50 pounds sterling. William Sanders paid off the 50 pounds but then died prior to receiving a deed. In his will, William gave the 67 acres to his son William Sanders. [8]

1784 Ann Saunders, spouse of Darby Lux, died on October 30. [9]
