1831 "Married - On Sunday the third inst, by the Rev. Lebrecht L Hinsch, Mr George Thomas, son of Mr Adam Thomas, to Miss Catharine Meals, daughter of David Meals - both of Menallen Twp.". 1850 Cathrine Thomas (age 39, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with George Thomas (age 47), Henry Thomas (age 18), Jemima Thomas (age 16), Mary Thomas (age 14), Sarah Thomas (age 11), Rebecka Thomas (age 9), Louisa Thomas (age 6), and Joseph Thomas (age 5). David (Catharine's father) and Magdalena Meals were listed adjacent. [3] [4]

1860 Catharine Thomas (age 49, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with George Thomas (age 56), Rebeca Thomas (age 18), Louisa Thomas (age 16), Joseph Thomas (age 14), and Rachel Thomas (age 5). [5] [6]

1870 George Thomas (age 65, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Catherine Thomas (age 60), Susanna Thomas (age 15), and Magdalene Thomas (age 9). George Thomas was a sawyer. [7] [8]

1874 Catherine, wife of George Thomas, was buried on February 23, at Bendersville Lutheran Church Cemetery, Adams County, Pennsylvania. Catherine Meals Thomas was born on July 15, 1811, based on her age at death. [9] [10]

1880 George Thomas (age 72, born in Pennsylvania, single) lived in Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania. George Thomas's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. [11]

1883 Gen George Adam Thomas died on October 22 and was buried at Bendersville Cemetery, Bendersville, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [12] [13]
