1752 Conrad Klingemeyer posted newspaper advertisements to find his son:

Whereas Conrad Klingenmeyer, son of Conrad Klingenmeyer, a lad about 14 years of age, who came into this country in October, 1751, in the ship Duke of Wirtemberg, Capt. Montpellier, commander, was, by the gentleman who bought him, somewhat abruptly separated from his father, so that he could only learn hastily that the place of his son's residence was to be about 30 miles from Philadelphia, on the Germantown road; and as all enquiries to find him have been hitherto ineffectual, this is to request the matter of said lad, or any other person, who can give intelligence to the father, to leave word with David Hall, at the New-Printing-Office, in what place the said Conrad Klingenmeyer, junior, is to be found. [28]

Seeks information about his son, Conrad, age about 14, who came into this country in Oct. of 1751 in the ship Duke of Wirtemberg, Capt. Montpellier; the man who bought the lad lives about 30 miles from Phila. on the Germantown Road; information to be sent to David Hall". [29] [30]
