1783 Sarah Wardel and her children Samuel Ivins, Mary Ivins, and Sarah Ivins were on a list of members of the Upper Freehold particular meeting, Burlington County, New Jersey. Dated 7 of month 5. [1] [2]

1787 Charles Jones and Mary Ivins, sister of Sarah Ivins, were married on November 2, at Upper Freehold, Monmouth County. Witnessed by Sarah Ivins, and many others. [3]

1790 William Chapman Jr requested membership with the Friends. Dated 6 of month 7. [4] [5] [6]

1790 William Chapman Jr was granted a certificate from the Chesterfield Meeting in Burlington to the Upper Springfield Meeting, on account of marriage. Dated on 7 of month 12. [7] [8] [9]

1790 Sarah Ivins of Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, daughter of Samuel Ivins, deceased, and Sarah Ivins, married William Chapman of Upper Freehold Twp, Monmouth County, New Jersey, son of William and Rebecca Chapman on December 16, as recorded in the Upper Springfield meeting records. William Chapman produced a certificate to Upper Springfield meeting from Chesterfield meeting on 12th month, 10th day, 1790. 1791 The account of the estate of Isaac Ivins [father of Samuel Ivins] named grandchildren (children of Samuel) as Samuel, Mary (wife of Chas Jones), and Sarah (wife of Wm Chapman) [Photocopy, Estate account of Isaac Ivins naming children and grand-children.] [26]

1791 Sarah Chapman, wife of William Chapman, was granted a certificate from Upper Springfield Meeting to the Chesterfield Meeting. Dated 9 of month 3. [27] [28] [29] [30]

1791 Sarah Chapman, wife of William Chapman Jun., produced a certificate from Upper Springfield Meeting at the Chesterfield Meeting. Dated 5 of month 4. [31] [32]

1794 A certificate was received at the Chesterfield Meeting from the Upper Springfield Meeting for Anthony Wardel [half-brother of Sarah], who was placed as an apprentice with William Chapman Jr. Dated 4th day, 5rd month. [33] [34]

1800 William Chapman was taxed in Nottingham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. [35] [36]

1810 William Chapman was taxed for 10 acres in Nottingham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. [37] [38]

1813 William Chapman was appointed overseer of the Chesterfield meeting. [39]

1826 The will of William Chapman was dated November 9 in Nottingham Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. The will named wife Sarah and three Chapman nephews. Isaac Ivins if Pennsylvania and Lewis Chapman and John Chapman were named exec utors. The probate date was December 1. [40] [41]

1826 William Chapman died on November 17 in Trenton, New Jersey. [42] [43]

1839 Sarah Chapman died on 15 of month 2, at age 68 or 69, and was buried at Cherry Street, Philadelphia. [44] [45] [46]
