1815 Emanuel Weigle, son of John and Margaret Weickel, was born on September 29, 1815. He was baptised on December 5, at Christ Lutheran Church, York, York County, Pennsylvania. [1]

1841 Emanuel Weigle, of Tyrone Twp, and Catharine Thomas, of Menallen Twp, were married on September 2, by Charles Weyl in Adams County. [2] [3]

1842 Hannah Maria Weigel, daughter of Emmanuel Weigel and Cath., was born on December 7. She was baptized on July 2, 1843, at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in York Springs, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [4]

1844 Benjamin Franklin Weigel, son of Emmanuel Weigel, was born on May 15. He was baptized on July 6, 1845, at the Upper Bermudian Church in Huntington Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [5]

1846 William Weigle, son of Emanuel and Cath. Weigle, was born on July 2. He was baptized on November 22, 1846 at the Upper Bermudian Church. [6] His parents were Emanuel Weigle and Kathryn Thomas. [7]

1848 Abraham and Isaac Weigel were born on April 29 and 30, to parents Emanuel and Cath. Weigel of Bendersville. Abraham and Isaac were baptized on October 26, 1848 at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, York Springs, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [8] [9] [10]

1850 Emanuel Weigle (age 30, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Butler Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Catherine Weigle (age 30), Hannah Weigle (age 9), Benjamin Weigle (age 8), William Weigle (age 6), Abraham Weigle (age 2), and Isaac Weigle (age 2). [11] [12]

1858/60 A map of Adams County shows E. Weigel in the central part of Tyrone township north of Heidlersburg. The road north from Heidlersburg passes R. Spangler and D. Joe. [13] The 1860 census entry for Emanuel Wigel lists him next to Rudolph Spangler and David Johe, all in the Heidlersburg Post Office area.

1860 Emanuel Wigel (age 46, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Tyrone Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Catharine Wigel (age 44), Hanah Wigel (age 16), Isaac Wigel (age 11), Carline Wigel (age 9), Isabell Wigel (age 7), and Jeremah Wigel (age 2). [14] [15] Abraham Wigel (age 12) lived nearby in the household of Daniel Turner. Franklin Wigel (age 15) lived in the household of John Boquin? as a farm hand. William Weigle (age 13) lived in Menallen Twp in the household of George Bender.

1870 Emanuel Weigel (age 52, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Huntington Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Catharine Weigel (age 32), Hannah Weigel (age 27), Franklin Weigel (age 24), William Weigel (age 23), Abraham Weigel (age 22), Isaac Weigel (age 22), Caroline Weigel (age 20), Isabel Weigel (age 18), Jeremiah Weigel (age 11), and Clara Weigel (age 9). [16] [17]

1879 Daughter Clara A Wiegle died, age 18, and was buried at Bethlehem Church Cemetery, Aspers, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [18] [19]

1880 Emanuel Weigle (age 65, born in Pennsylvania, married) lived in Huntington Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Catherine Weigle (age 61), Abraham Weigle (age 32), Isaac Weigle (age 32), Hannah Weigle (age 36), and Jerrymiah Weigle (age 21). Emanuel Weigle's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Emanuel Weigle's occupation was day laborer. [20] [21]

1889 "Shot his mother - On last Friday, whilst Jerry Weigle of near Heidlersburg, was handling a Flobert rifle, the weapon was discharged, the ball striking his mother, Mrs Emmanuel Wiegle, who was at work nearby, and passing entirely through her thigh, shattering the bone and making a painful wound." [22]

1894 Emanuel Weigle, married, died of sudden paralysis on February 13, at age 77, in Huntington Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania. Emanuel Weigle was born in Huntington Township. Emanuel Weigle was a Laborer. He was buried on February 16 at Center Mills. [23]

1894 Emanuel Wiegle died on February 13 and was buried at Bethlehem Church Cemetery, Aspers, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [24] [25]

1898 Anna C Wiegle died on March 12, age about 71, and was buried at Bethlehem Church Cemetery, Aspers, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [26] [27]
