1812 Andrew, son of Peter and Magdalena Weickel was born on September 28. He was baptized on November 17 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church on the Katores (Codorus), Christ Lutheran Church, York, York County, Pennsylvania. [1]

1834 Andrew Weigle and Sarah Derr were married on November 6, 1834 in Trinity Reformed Church (United Church of Christ), United Church of Christ church, York, York County, Pennsylvania. [2] They were married by Reverend John Cares. [3]

1840 Andrew Weigel lived in Franklin Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (20 thru 29); and females: 2 (under 5) and 1 (20 thru 29). [4] [5]

1850 Andrew Weigle (age 37, born in Pennsylvania) lived in York North Ward, York County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Sarah Weigle (age 36), Mary Weigle (age 13), John Weigle (age 4), Catharine Weigle (age 2), George Deitz (age 25), Margaret Deitz (age 29), Mary M Deitz (age 4), Sarah Ann Deitz (age 2), and Margaret Switzer (age 65). 1860 Andrew Weigel (age 47, born in Pennsylvania) lived in York Division 1, York County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Sarah A Weigel (age 47), Mary A Weigel (age 23), John M Weigel (age 13), Catharine B Weigel (age 12), Amanda R Weigel (age 9), and Sarah E Weigel (age 4). [7]

1870 Andrew Wagle (age 57, born in Pennsylvania) lived in York Ward 5, York County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Sarah Wagle (age 57), John Wagle (age 22), and Ellen Wagle (age 14). [8]

1880 Andrew Weigle (age 67, born in Pennsylvania, married, engineer), lived in Smysertown Twp, York County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Sarah Weigle (age 66), and Ella Weigle (age 24). Andrew Weigle's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Andrew Weigle's occupation was engineer. [9]

1910 Mary Ann Weigle Snyder died on May 12 in York, York County, Pennsylvania. She was born on September 20, 1836, in Pennsylvania, daughter of Andrew Weigle and Sarah Ann Darr. [10]

1910 Mary Ann Weigel Snyder died on May 12 and was buried at Prospect Hill Cemetery, York, York County, Pennsylvania. Mary Ann Weigel Snyder was born on September 20, 1836. [11] [12]

The ages shown in the census records shown above are more consistent with a birth in 1812 than with a birth in 1811, so this Andrew has been assigned to Peter Weigel and Magdalena Grass. We seek more evidence to clarify the parents of this Andrew.
