1850 Joseph Schooley (age 60) and Sarah Schooley (age 50) lived in Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey with children Caleb (age 28), William (age 25), Elizabeth (age 22), Mary A (age 20), Charles (age 17), Sarah J (age 16), and Franklin (age 12). [1]

1860 William Schooley (age 30), Charles N Schooley (age 27), Mary Ann Schooley (age 25) and Sarah Jan Schooley (age 23) lived with brother Caleb Schooley in Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. [2]

1867 Charles N Schooley and Susan M Woodward were reported married on January 31. Charles Schooley married Susan, daughter of Tilton and Alice Woodward. [3]

1870 Charles Schooley (age 37) and Susan (age 26) lived in Upper Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey. [4] [5]

1880 Charles Schooley (age 43) and Susan Schooley (age 38) lived in Upper Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey with several workers. [6] [7]

1885 Charles Schooley (age 20-60), perhaps this Charles, lived in Upper Freehold, Monmouth County, New Jersey with Susan Schooley, Alice A. Woodward, Cora Clumly, and George Bloomell. [8]

1895 George Hankins, Mary Ella Hankins, Lizzie Hankins, and Charles Schooley lived in Monmouth County, New Jersey. [9]

1900 Uncle Chas Schooley (age 69) lived in Hamilton Twp, Mercer County, New Jersey with the family of Mary E Hankins (age 50) [10]

1902 Charles N. Schooley died on October 18 and was buried at Crosswicks Community Cemetery, North Crosswicks, Mercer County, New Jersey. Charles was born on February 16, 1831. [11] [12]

1902 The will of Charles N Schooley, dated March 26, was presented to the court in Mercer County by Mary E. Hankins, J. Burtis Schooley, and Henry D Schooley, the executors named in the will. The will named Charles Satterthwait, son of Walter and Elizabeth Satterthwait; Almira Atkinson, daughter of deceased sister Elizabeth Aaronson and wife of Samuel Atkinson; sister Mary Anna Schooley; niece Mary E Hankins, wife of George S. Hankins; and nephews J. Burtis Schooley and Henry D. Schooley. [13]

Susan Woodward was a daughter of Tilton and Alice Thompson Woodward. [14]
