1821 William Ware and Wilmoth Pickett were married on February 15, 1821, in Jones County, Georgia. [1]

1846 W. W. Ware purchased land from Haley and Massey Colton (Cotton?), all of Leake County, Mississippi. The deed was dated October 31. The land was in section 27 of township 12. [2]

1850 Willmouth Ware (age 56, born in Georgia) lived in Beat 3, Leake County, Mississippi, in a household with W W Ware (age 56), John T Ware (age 20), and William Ware (age 12). The family of J Hightower (age 40) was listed adjacent. [3] [4]

1853 W. W. Ware was listed in the State and Territorial Census for Leake County Mississippi in a household with 2 males and 1 female. [5]

1856 W. W. Ware transferred personal property to Thomas J Cooper, administrator for N. P. Steely deceased, as surety for notes that were due. One note was against W. W. Ware and Wm Joyce and the other note was due from Leroy C. Ware and J. Anglin. The agreement mentioned the town of Thomastown and was dated March 15. [6]

1857 Wilmoth W. Ware sold land to William T Landrum, both of Leaks County, Mississippi, on November 9. The land was in section 27 of township 12 [see deed H-114, dated 1846]. [7] The next deed recorded the sale of land in Thomastown by John Anglin and wife Louisa Anglin to T. B. Simpson on December 21 [perhaps the J Anglin named in the 1856 agreement].

1860 Mrs W Ware (age 72?, born in Georgia) lived in Livingston County, Louisiana. Listed adjacent were W. W Ware (age 21) and the family of John T Ware (age 26). [8] [9]

1861 Willmuth Woodard Picket Ware, wife of W. W. Ware, died on June 29, 1861 and was buried at Bankston Cemetery, Livingston Parish, Louisiana. Willmuth Woodard Picket Ware was born in 1785. [10]

Willmuth Woodard Picket was born in Georgia in 1785. She was the wife of William W. Ware. They were married on 15 Feb 1821 in Jones County, Georgia. She died in Livingston Parish, Louisiana on 29 Jun 1861.

Research Notes:

Daughter Elizabeth Woodward [Ware] reportedly married Noah Eli Laird. Julia Ann was their daughter.

1850 John H. Ware and wife Casandra sold land to Sidney Adams, all of Leake County, Mississippi. The deed was dated November 15. [11]
