1758 Musco Boulware was born [memorial stone shows Muscoe Boulware 1758-1825][1]

1762 Nancy Pickett was born in Virginia. Her birth has been reported at King George County, Virginia. [2]

Musco Boulware participated in the American Revolution.

Musco Boulware and Nancy came from King and Queen County of tidewater, Virginia. They bought land on the Flint Hill Ridge and built a home called Eagle House in Fairfield County, South Carolina. They established the "Boulware Walls" cemetery where they are both buried. [3]

1810 Musco Boulware lived in Fairfield County, South Carolina in a household with free white males: 2 (under 10), 3 (10 thru 15), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (26 thru 44); and free white females: 3 (under 10), 6 (10 thru 15), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (45 and over); and 11 slaves. [4]

1818 The state brought a case against Musco Boulware Jr. (perhaps a son) in the Fairfield County court of general sessions on November 17 for murder. [5] A true bill. [6] Bail set at $5000. [7] Not guilty. [8]

1820 Musko Bolware lived in Fairfield County, South Carolina in a household with free white males: 2 (16 thru 25), 1 (26 thru 44), and 1 (45 and over); and free white females: 2 (10 thru 15), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (45 and over); and 22 slaves. [9]

1824 Musco Boulware dated his will on December 15, in Fairfield County, South Carolina. The will named wife Nancy; oldest son Thomas; grandchildren Kisanah, Musco, and Micajah Pickett children of deceased daughter Elizabeth, daughter Nancy Pickett, son Reuben P, son Benjamin, daughter Sarah Pickett, son Musco Jr, daughter Catherine Rains, son William C, and daughter Eliza Ann. 1825 Son Reubin dated his will on August 27, and named all of his siblings indicating his parents were living. [16]

1825 Musco Boulware was buried at Boulware Walls Cemetery, Fairfield County, South Carolina. Gravestone epitaph on marker erected by descendants in 1946 reads: " Muscoe Boulware. 1758-1825. Of the old Rappahannock county, Virginia Bowler family. Emigrated to Fairfield County after the Revolutionary War, and established Eagle House and Boulware Walls inclosing this burying ground. His wife Nancy Pickett died 1832. His son Dr William R.A. Boulware died 1832." [17]

1829 Musco Boulware transferred slaves to Mrs Catharine Raines, wife of Wm G. Raines. Nancy Boulware, mother of Catharine Raines also transferred slaves to Catharine. The disposition of these slaves was the subject of an equity case in the South Carolina Court of Appeals. [18]

1830 Musco Boulware lived in Fairfield County, South Carolina in a household with free white males: 1 (under 5) and 1 (30 thru 39); and free white females: 1 (30 thru 39); and 41 slaves. [19]

1832 Son Muscoe Boulware, Jr died and was buried at Boulware Walls Cemetery, Fairfield County, South Carolina. Muscoe Boulware, Jr was born February 13, 1798. [20] The inscription reads:

Mr. Musco Boulware who was born on the 13th day of February, 1798, and departed this life on the 11th day of May, 1832, in the 31st year of his age. He left this transitory abode in the bloom of life respected and regretted by all who know him. He was a loving husband and a kind and affectionate father and a sincere friend. This monument was erected by his beloved widow who with two small children have been left to mourn their irreparable loss.

1832 Son William R A Boulware, of Fairfield District, dated his will on June 6, naming brother Thomas and Thomas' son William, surviving mother Nancy Boulware, sister Catherine Rains wife of William G Rains, brother Benjamin, brother Musco deceased, brother Reuben P deceased, sister Sarah wife of John Pickett, sister Elizabeth Barber wife of John G Barber, nephew Thomas McCullough Boulware and niece Martha children of Musco deceased, nephew Reuben son of Thomas. Executors brothers Thomas and Benjamin. [21] [22] [23] [24]

1836 The will of Nancy Boulware, dated November 15, in Fairfield District Fairfield County SC, named son Thomas and his children Musco and Nancy, son Benjamin and his daughter Nancy and son Musco, daughter Catherine Rains (apparently married to William G) and her daughter Nancy, daughter Eliza Barber wife of John G, grandchildren Micajah and Nancy Picket [perhaps children of John B and Sarah Pickett], grand-daughter Kezanna Feaster, grand-daughter Nancy Allen, grand-daughters Catherine and Kezanna Pickett (minors) children of daughter Nancy Pickett deceased, grand-sons Reuben and Jeptha Picket children of daughter Nancy, grandchildren Thomas and Nancy Boulware children of Musco. Executors sons Benjamin and Thomas Boulware. Proved on January 25, 1837. [25] [26] [27] [28]

1836 Nancy Pickett Boulware was buried at Boulware Walls Cemetery, Fairfield County, South Carolina. [memorial stone reports Nancy Pickett, wife of Musco Boulware, died 1832][29]
