1850 Micagah Pickett (age 3, born in Louisiana) lived in Western District, Bienville Parish, Louisiana, in a household with James M Pickett (age 32), Eliza Pickett (age 24), Nancy Pickett (age 7), Martha Pickett (age 1), and Nancy Thomas (age 55). [1]

1870 James Pickett (age 53) and Eliza Pickett (age 44) lived in Falls, Texas with Mikada [Micajah?] Pickett (age 23), Elizabeth Pickett (age 18), Casandra Pickett (age 15), Wingfield Pickett (age 13), Sally Pickett (age 12), Virginia Pickett (age 9), and Lucie Pickett (age 5). Elizabeth Thomas (age 33) a likely sister-in-law, and children lived next door. [2]

1874 J. M. and M.A. Pickett were taxed for 160 acres in Hamilton County, Texas. [3]

1880 MA Pickett (age 32) and Nancy Pickett (age 25, Texas, parents born in Texas) lived in Hamilton County, Texas with children James (age 7), Mary (age 5), MA (age 3), and Lucie (born March). Father JM Pickett was listed on the prior page of the census. [9]

1882 M.A. and B.P. Pickett were taxed in Hamilton County, Texas. [10]

1900 Micajah Pickett (age 53) and Maud (Nand?) E. Pickett (age 46, Texas, parents born in Texas and Missouri) lived in Justice, Jack, Texas with children Cora E (age 17), Virgil M (age 13), Barbry E (age 3), and Jake (age 2). They had been married 28 years, had 12 children, 8 living. [11] [12]

1902 Micajah A Pickett, son of James M Pickett and Caroline Eliza Pickett, applied for enrollment as a Mississippi Choctaw, based on the claim that Phil Thomas, father of Caroline Eliza Pickett, was one fourth Mississippi Choctaw. The application gave many details about Micajah's relatives. Micajah reported that his father's name was James Madison and that Caroline's father's name was Phil Thomas and that Phil Thomas had married two sisters. [13]

1902 Micajah A Pickett, son of James M Pickett and Caroline E Pickett, had applied for land in Oklahoma and Indian Territory by identification as a Mississippi Choctaw, one of Five Civilized Tribes. Children Virgil M (age 15), Barbara e (age 5), and Jake (age 3) Pickett were named on the application. They lived in Busch [now Elk City], Oklahoma. [14]

1902 Casandra Lamb, age 47, daughter of James M Pickett and Caroline E Pickett, had applied for land in Oklahoma and Indian Territory by identification as a Mississippi Choctaw, one of Five Civilized Tribes. Her application, and the application of Micajah A Pickett, was rejected. [15]

1910 Michyth Pickett (age 63), carpenter, and Nannie Pickett (age 56, Texas, parents born in Texas and Missouri) lived in Justice, Coryell, Texas with children Ellan B (age 13), and Jake (age 11). Married 38 years, 12 children, 8 living. [16]

1915 M. A. Pickett, of Montague County, Texas, applied for a pension, at age 69, for service in the Confederate army. He was born in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. He had lived in Montague County for 3 years. [17]

1920 Mark A Pickett (age 73, born in US, married) lived in Bonita, Montague County, Texas, in a household with Sarah Pickett (age 62, born in Kentucky). Mark A Pickett could read and write. Mark A Pickett was a shoe maker. [18]

1921 Mcager A Pickett died on November 29, at age 75y 10m 29d, in Bonita, Montague County, Texas. He was a shoe cobbler. He was born on January 1, 1846, in Louisiana, son of Geo [sic] Pickett. [19]

1921 M A Pickett died on November 29, 1921 and was buried at Center Point Cemetery, Saint Jo, Montague County, Texas. No documentation is provided. [20] [21] [22]

1943 James Henry Pickett died in March. He was born on January 14, 1873, in Waco Cameron, Texas, son of Mcajah A Pickett and Nancy E Stevens. [23]

1949 J E Pickett, married, died on August 29, at age 50, in San Saba, San Saba County, Texas. J E Pickett, son of M A Pickett and Nancy Stevens, was born on November 1, 1898. [24] [25]

1976 Barbara Ellen Goodnight, widowed, died on November 19, at age 80, in Wellington, Collingsworth County, Texas. Barbara Ellen Goodnight, daughter of Mccager Pickett, was born on September 15, 1896, in Jack County, Texas. [26] [27] [28] [29]
