1824 David Brenizer of Cumberland County and Ann Bauman of York County, Pennsylvania were married on Tuesday 20 April 1824 by Rev. Dr. Lochman. [1]

1832 David Brenizer Jr and wife Ann of the Borough of Mechanicsburg sold a lot to Abraham Stayman. David had purchased the land from the estate of Henry Stouffer in 1829. [2]

1833 David Brenizer was appointed postmaster at Smithville, Wayne County, Ohio on October 18. [3]

1839 David Brenizer, Jr was a developer of Smithville, Ohio, as was his father. [4]

1840 David Brenizer lived in Greene Twp, Wayne County, Ohio with 2 males age 10-15 (Theophilus), 1 male age 15-20 (Levi), 1 male age 30-40 (David), 1 female age 0-5 (Elizabeth), 2 females age 5-10 (Adeline and Caroline), 1 female age 10-15, 1 female age 30-40 (Anna), and 1 female age 60-70 (Anna's mother?). 1850 David Brenizer (age 50, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Green Twp, Wayne County, Ohio, in a household with Anne Brenizer (age 46), Theophilas Brenizer (age 24), Adeline Brenizer (age 18), Caroline Brenizer (age 15), Elizabeth Brenizer (age 11), Kasiah Brenizer (age 8), and David Brenizer (age 4). [6]

1860 David Brenizer (age 59, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Wooster Post Office, Green Twp, Wayne County, Ohio, in a household with Annie Brenizer (age 57), Adaline Brenizer (age 26), Elizabeth Brenizer (age 18), Kesiah Brenizer (age 16), William Moody (age 30), David Brenizer (age 14), John Brenizer (age 8), and William Bralman (age 4). [7]

1870 David Brenizer (age 69, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Green Twp, Wayne County, Ohio, in a household with Anna Brenizer (age 65), Adaline Brenizer (age 32), Elizabeth Brenizer (age 29), Emma Bellman (age 14), Geo W Bricker (age 54), Susan F Bricker (age 53), Joseph W Bricker (age 27), George B Bricker (age 17), Jacob Gorover (age 18), and Margaret Quinn (age 13). 1875 Anna Brenizen, married, died on January 7, at age 70, in Smithville, Green Twp, Wayne County, Ohio. Anna Brenizen was born in York County, Pennsylvania. Anna Brenizen had lived at Smithville, Wayne County, Ohio. [10] She was buried at Old Oak Hill Cemetery, Smithville, Wayne County, Ohio. [11][12]

1879 David Brenizer bought the Brethren in Christ Church Wayne County Ohio. At the Public Sale held at Smithville of the Old Church and furniture belonging to the Brethren in Christ on the 20th day of September 1879 David Brenizer was the highest bidder to whom said church was sold for thirty dollars & he agreeing to give his note and said sum is not paid yet. Signed Simon Bauman. The State of Ohio Wayne County Ohio Personally appeared before me a Notary Public and for the county said Simon Bauman one of the Trustees of said Church and was duly qualified and says that the above is just and true that there are no offsets against the same Signed Simon Bauman Trustee. Affirmed to and subscribed before me this first day of March 1885 John Zimmerman Notary Public. (Could Simon Bauman be related to Ann Bauman?)

1880 David Brenizer (age 79, born in Pennsylvania, widower) was a boarder in the household of Samuel and Nancy Peters in Smithville, Wayne County, Ohio. David Brenizer's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. David Brenizer's occupation was farmer. [13]

1884 David Brenizer left a will dated May 1, 1884 with probate date May 22, 1884. 1) requesting to be buried in Smithville next to his wife. 2) grandson John A Brenizer, son of Theophilus to receive $1000. 3) my son Levi and my daughter Susan Beelman('s?) three children named Theodore Augustine Amy & William Beelman shall have the share coming to their mother. Caroline Clark Elizabeth Bricker Adeline Shelly & Kasiah Sweiss shall share alike in all my assets. 4) in the event Adeline Shelly should die leaving no children that her share on hand at her death should be equally divided among my three grandchilden of my daughter Susannah Beelman; and also in the event if my daughter Elizabeth Bricker should die leaving no issue or children I bequeath her share that may be on hand at her death to Kesiah Sweiss children that may be living to be equally divided among them. 5) Friend John Zimmerman to be executor. Witnessed by Simon Baumn and Samuel Peters. [14].

1884 David A. Brenizer Jr. died on April 28 and was buried at Old Hill Cemetery, Wayne County, Ohio. David A. Brenizer Jr. was born on April 4, 1801. [15] [16]

1916 Elizabeth R Bricker, married, died on September 1, at age 75, in Smithville, Wayne County, Ohio. Elizabeth R Bricker, daughter of David Brenizer and Anna Bauman, was born on July 20, 1841, in Smithville, Ohio. Elizabeth R Bricker had lived at Smithville, Wayne County, Ohio. J. W. Bricker was the informant. [17]

1830 David Brenizer lived in Monroe Twp, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 2 (under 5) and 1 (30 thru 39); and females: 1 (under 5), 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), and 1 (30 thru 39). [18] The female children do not match in age.
