1909 Tod Stewart was born on December 26. [1]

1915 Mary Cossitt Miles, daughter of Marshall Gilbert Miles and Jean Cossitt, was born in La Grange, Cook County, Illinois. [2]

1940 On April 17, Tod John Steward (age 30), his wife Mary Steward (age 24), and their daughter Jean Steward (age 8/12) lived at 124 Sixth Avenue in La Grange, Cook County, Illinois, with Jean Miles (age 52) and her daughter Margaret Miles (age 22). Tod was Jean Miles' son-in-law, Mary was Jean's daughter, and the younger Jean was her granddaughter. Jean Miles, a widow, was part owner of a real estate office. Tod's occupation was chemical engineer in a dairy company. All members of the household were born in Illinois. [3]

1946 Margaret Amy Stewart, daughter of Tod Stewart and Mary Miles, was born on April 13 and died on April 14 in Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. [4] She was buried in Bronswood Cemetery, Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois. [5]

1946 Mary Stewart of La Grange, Illinois, age 30, died on April 24 in Elgin, Kane, Illinois. Her husband was Tod Stewart. Mary was born 3 September 1915 in La Grange, Illinois, daughter of Marshall G. Miles and Jean Cossitt. [6] She was buried in Bronswood Cemetery, Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois. [7]

1958 Tod J. Stewart and Nancy L. Olson were married on April 5 in Cook County, Illinois. [8]

1966 On January 6 the Brookfield Citizen reported, [9]

The Tod Stewarts of 706 N. Brainard ave., La Grange, held open house on the Sunday between the holidays, greeting many old friends from throughout the Chicago area.
Their holiday visitors included their son Bill Olson and his wife, the former Jennifer McCray and baby son, Jonathan of Lawrence, Kan. The Olsons divided their time between the homes of both set of parents. Mrs. Olson is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James P. McCray, 150 Malden ave., LaGrange.
Also at the Stewart home for Christmas were their daughter Jeanne Stewart Onesti and her husband Ted Onesti and baby daughter Ramona Faith of Chicago.
Further excitement was added when daughter, Mary Stewart, arrived home from Evansville, Ind., wearing a diamond ring and told of plans for a June wedding. Miss Stewart is on the nursing staff at St. Mary's hospital in Evansville.
At thanksgiving time, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart and her mother, Mrs. E. B. Lapham of Sunset ave., and Mrs. Lapham's sister, visited the Bill Olsons in Lawrence, Kans. They celebrated the Olsons' first wedding anniversary and Mrs. Lapham's 50th.

1966 Donald John LeDuc and Mary Ellen Stewart were married on April 2 in Evansville, Indiana. Donald, age 26, was born in Michigan. Mary, age 22, was born in Illinois. Both lived in Evansville. [10] The newspaper account states, [11]

Mary Ellen Stewart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tod John Stewart, 706 N. Brainard ave., LaGrange Park, was married in St. Benedict's Catholic Church, Evansville, Ind. at 1 p.m. on Apr. 2. Father Alban Berling solemnized the ceremony at which she became the bride of Donald John LeDuc, son of Mrs. Howard LeDuc and the late Howard LeDuc of 101 S. Harper ave., Evansville.
Given in marriage by her father, Tod Stewart, the bride wore a floor length gown of nylon organza, fashioned with empire waist, scooped neckline and long pointed sleeves. The A-line skirt and the chapel length panel train were trimmed with re-embroidered Alcenon lace. Her imported silk illusion veil was caught in a cluster of organza leaves, spears of lily of the valley. Her flowers were lily of the valley and white roses in a cascade arrangement and she carried a pearl rosary given to her by the bridegroom.

Mr. and Mrs. LeDuc are at home at 1143 B. Covert, Apartment 4, Evansville. Ind.
The bride, a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Evansville, Ind., is a staff nurse at that hospital.
The bridegroom, a graduate of Evansville college is working on his master's degree at Indiana State university in Terre Haute. He is a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and is a teacher and coach at Harrison high school in Evansville.

1967 On December 21, the Brookfield Citizen reported, [12]

Mr. and Mrs. Tod Stewart will be having their last Christmas at their home at 706 Brainard ave., LaGrange Park as early in January they are moving to 606 N. Edgewood ave. Their holiday family gathering will include their son, William S. Olson and his wife and baby, Jonathan Edward of Atlanta, Ga., and their daughter Jean and her husband Ted Onesti and baby, Ramona Faith of Los Angeles, Calif. Olson is in the personnel department of the American Can company and has been in charge of the United Fund. Onesti has a county position and is interested in dramatics.
On Christmas day the Stewarts are having the family breakfast in their home and dinner will be at the house of Mrs. Stewart's mother, Mrs. E. B. Lapham on Sunset ave., LaGrange.
The Olsons will be dividing their holiday time between his parents and her parents, the James McCrays of Malden ave., LaGrange Park.

1975 Tod Stewart died on December 5 in La Grange, Cook County, Illinois, address 239 Sunset. His death record states that he was age 65, born 26 December 1909, his father was John Wleklinski, his mother was Wanda Jaworski, his spouse was Nancy Lapham, his occupation was chemist, and the informant's name was William S. [13] [14] He was buried in Bronswood Cemetery, Oak Brook, DuPage County, Illinois, on December 8. [15]

1976 Nancy Stewart died on February 9 in La Grange, Cook County, Illinois, address 239 Sunset. Her death record states that she was a widow, age 63, born 3 July 1912 in Illinois, her father's name was Edward B. Lapham, and her mother's name was Hortense Sheffield. [16] She was buried in Bronswood Cemetery in Oak Brook DuPage County, Illinois, on February 11. [17]
