Research interests

My research interests lie in and around geometric topology. I like when mathematics gives us new insights about shapes we can visualize.

A particular aspect of geometry that I am fond of is the study of moduli spaces, such as Teichmüller spaces, character varieties, and strata of abelian differentials. I find it fascinating that the geometric properties of a moduli space can give us insight into the geometric properties of the shapes that it parametrizes.

I am currently interested in the topology, geometry, and dynamics of strata of abelian differentials.
