Yisa S Rumala

I completed my PhD research in the Applied Physics program in the summer of 2012 at The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. My research work was in the area of optical and atomic physics, and it was performed in the Department of Physics. On the way to completing my PhD work, I earned a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2008. My Bachelors degree is from York College of the City University of New York with a dual major in Physics and Mathematics, Highest honors, (2006). I also participated in research internships at Princeton University and MIT.
