My Life, As Told By Me

I was born on December 7th, 1978 (Pearl Harbor Day for you unpatriotic types) in Taipei, the Republic of China. My parents are Grant and Grace Yeh, though they weren't known as Grant and Grace Yeh then, just as I wasn't always known as James Y. Yeh. They were known only by their Chinese names then, as I was. From then until 1984, I lived in relative bliss and ignorance in the Republic of China. Then my entire family, which now included my brother, Andrew, immigrated over to the United States. First, we stayed with my aunt and uncle in their house in Annadale, New Jersey, where I attended Josephine Mitchell School in the Clnton Township School District for most of kindergarden. Then we moved to Phillipsburg, New Jersey where I attended Lopatcong Township School. I stayed there until the end of second grade, when we moved to Lebanon, New Jersey, which was part of the Clinton Township School District. I attended Spruce Run School for the first half of third grade before the entire third grade moved into the new Patrick McGehran School (yeah, PMS, I know.) I completed fifth grade at PMS (still can't get over it) and moved onto the next school, Round Valley School (RVS, that's more like it) where I finished sixth grade. During that summer, we moved to West Windsor, New Jersey, and I attended West Windsor-Plainsboro Middle School, then moved onto West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, from where I graduated. I am currently attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

         More to come.........
