This resource page is developed and maintained by the University Library to help linguists or scholars and students working within a linguistic framework to identify useful information resources be they available remotely in electronic form or more immediately available in traditional formats on the Ann Arbor campus. While the Internet has opened up great possibilities for putting researchers in immediate touch with some useful information, it is not yet an adequate replacement for extensive library resources. This page is designed, in part, to direct users to selected linguistics sites on the World Wide Web but also to accentuate the outstanding paper and digital resources available in the University Library system or, more generally, on the Ann Arbor campus. In short, it is an attempt to help campus researchers in linguistics to develop integrated search strategies to take advantage of the full range of available information resources in linguistics.
