Diane Hall
|
|
|
Of all the people who have recently
joined the webmaster team, no one has
joined it more recently than our most
recent addition: Diane.
Diane is the fifth vegetarian on the
team ( joining Kasthuri, Johanna,
Willie, and Kevin ) but we're not
trying to convert anyone. ;)

Liam Hoekenga
|
|
|
|
Liam has a BA in Linguistics from
the University of Michigan and taught
Kevin html when the web was crawling
out of its primordial ooze.
He is a dancing, singing, witty,
bitter, clever marvel who wants
everything in the world to play the
fight song while blinking and
spinning.
Him goodfellaman.

Kasthuri Ilankamban
|
|
|
Kasthuri has degrees in biochemistry,
rocket science, computer science,
juggling, cheese, and is a fantastic
Oracle DBA. She has two delightful
children, Vaishu and Vijay, who should
probably be webmasters by now.
In an amazing feat of linguistic
prowess, Kasthuri learned to speak the
language 'Tamil' before she was even
old enough to read.
She is a little bit taller and a lot
less fuzzy than this picture suggests.

Willie Northway
|
|
|
Willie graduated from the Residential College with a
degree in statistics. He spent the next few entertaining
years furthering his education by working along the
crest of the dot-com wave.
When not working, he occupies much of his time with
photography,
vegetarian cooking for 50, ice hockey, participating
in a
cohousing community,
zymurgy, off-road biking, sleeping outdoors in a tent, and
spending time with his wonderful wife.

Tony Winkler
|
|
|
|
Tony is dramatic. He can kick you in
the head but, frankly, considers it
beneath him.
He recently bought a house. We're
thinking this newfound impoverishment
will have him making fewer trips to the
nickel jar. Buy him a sandwich and he
just might let you sit in his hottub.
Tony is a whole lot funnier than you
think he is. No one on the team is
likelier to make milk come out of your
nose. He's stealth funny.

Kevin McGowan
|
|
|
|
Kevin earned a BA in Linguistics from
the University of Michigan in 1996 and
has been a UM Webmaster, pretty much,
ever since. He was the team's leader
from October 1999 through August 2006.
Currently he is working towards a PhD
in computational linguistics.
He plays the bodhran & guitar,
rides his bike, loves his
macintosh, rides his bike, adores
his wife, and rides his bike.
You probably don't want to visit kevin's personal home page
