Unlike anyother sport, wrestling has used every media outlet to bring itself to cult status. The following two companies gave rise to this phenomenon.

When it comes to popularity and longevity, The World Wide Wrestling Federation ranks among the best. The official WWF website is a great place to find everything associated with the Federation. No other company has promoted or used it celebritys to achieve more than the WWF. The WWF can be seen on the USA Network Monday nights---Monday Night Raw, and is on Pay-Per View nearly every weekend. The WWF website includes some of the following: Pay-Per-View Schedules, Television, News, Live Event information, Publications, Photos of Talent, and Biographies of all the wrestlers. Titan Sports holds the rights to all WWF properties and is based out of Stamford, Connecticut.

The arch enemy in both ratings and popularity is the World Class Wrestling Federation. The WCW offers the fan tons of information about their wrestlers including world famous---"Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, Randy "Macho Man" Savage, and Sting as well as many others. WCW's website includes information of time schedules of events on Turner Superstations such as TNT and TBS, Pay-Per-View Dates, Superstars, News, Merchandise, and an Internet Insiders Broadcast. WCW is based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

One of the most well known teams within the WCW is the New World Order--NWO, and are one of the most popular wrestling teams of all time. They have their own websites to keep up the demand of information just to keep up with the interest they demand.
WCW and WWF websites are both officially endorsed by their respective organizations. They have the most up to date and factual information one can get off the internet.
Extreme Championship Wrestling--ECW is an independent wrestling corporation that prides itself on no matches that end in disqualification as other companies do. One word to describe the ECW is VIOLENT. It is based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is owned by an actual wrestler in the company.
