Brief Bio

I am a Vice President of Vision Technologies at Aibee, Palo Alto CA. Previously, I was an algorithm scientist at Aibee and also taking the lead to build a new R/D team at Boston, US. Before joining Aibee, I was a perception tech lead at ISEE, inc and a senior researcher at NEC Laboratories. I received my Ph.D degree at the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor under the supervision of Prof. Silvio Savarese. My research interests include Machine Learning and Computer Vision with particular interests in scene/behavior understanding, object detection in videos and multiple target tracking. I got my B.S degree in Electrical Engineering at Seoul National University before I moved to Ann Arbor.
