"The NatPack Sleeps" by Lynn Stapleton w/ the NatPack Timeline: Shortly after the NatPack takes to the Happy Souvlaki for food. As the War passed by, and we seemed to be stuck on Friday 13th for no sane reason, some of the Pack that have been rather tired due to that unfortunate thing called "Real Life". So to solve that rather unique problem, we decided that the best resource would be to sleep. In various spots on Nat's couch, on the floor, people found spots to fall into slumber. Tina lay sprawled over an overly cushioned chair. In the corner, Dawn had taken to sleeping curled up under a blanket, using a pillow to cushion her head. Valerie had gotten into some unique position whilst sleeping that I still cannot fathom. Jennie and Amy found some spare blankets in Nat's hall closet, and went into the bedroom in search of comfort of a cozy bed...only to find Betsy, in her sick and injured state, along with Maureen had already been fast asleep. So they took the next best thing...the plushly carpeted floor. In the living room, the now-empty four-litre container of Ben & Jerry's Heavenly Hash ice-cream and various other cartons of different flavours lay on the coffee table...well, partially, since Kim figured it was a flat surface, and could be used for other purposes. Judy was propped up against the stereo speakers, her head sort of leaning to the side against a propped up cushion. Linda Pierce and found Nat's cat Sydney, and had the cat tucked up next to her as she slept in yet another corner. I lay in another corner with some more blankets snugly wrapped around her. I fitfully dreamt of a certain red-headed bard that I'd seen on TV a few nights ago...and how said bard could pretty much talk her way out of any unpleasant circumstance. Then my dreams turned to our venture over at the Happy Souvlaki Deli...yet another similarity with said bard -- an insatiable appetite for food...of course, that also happens to be a Pack trait, too. Sometime later, no one really knew when as the DAMN clocks were still still not functioning properly, members of the Pack revived from their slumber. A few bodies who seemed to crave more food sought out the remainder of Ben & Jerry's that they figured must have been put into the deep freeze. Certainly the Pack couldn't be left without such an important part of their diets. Tina stuck her head up out of the blankets. "Where's the All-JetC tape?, I thought I took it out of my bag last night." Amy looked around for a second before remembering it was still in the VCR from the previous night's -- or what would have been last night if the timeline were actually moving somewhere -- viewing.. Since Amy hadn't quite woken up yet, her response was to point at the bag next to the tv. Tina looked at Valerie and Lynn for translation, as her signing was *temporarily* limited. Valerie replied with, "Over there in the bag." "Ah," Tina responded then went to get said prized possession. "So, what are we going to do next?" Jennie asked. "Well I think some of us are going on a sight-seeing tour. Who wants in?" Dawn asked. Jill began to take down names of possible adventurers.
