Objectives and Overview

For this project, we sought to model the unique evolution of small molecular organic films grown by organic vapor jet printing (OVJP) using a finite element approach. After establishing the model and mathematical framework, we employed MATLAB to simulate the influence of different parameters such as the free energy, surface energy, elastic stress fields, and initial geometries on the evolution of the thin film surface.
