Abstract

Sintering is a common procedure for manufacturing ceramic and metalic objects including pottery and implants. We can find applications in various industrial fields because it is a simple and economically effective. During sintering, density, shape and size distribution of pores change. Pores can move with the grain boundaries or separate from them. The quality of result products highly depends on  the final status of pores. Our team project is about an axisymmetric model of a single pore on a moving grain boundary.
