Central Campus Air Quality Model (CCAQM) Instructions
Receptor
Locations
Referring to
the
map of Central Campus, the receptors are highlighted in red.
The origin, or (0, 0) point, of the map is located in the lower
left-hand corner. For our purposes, the wind direction is assumed
to be from the west; thus, the x-direction points towards the west.
The positive y-direction is normal to the x-direction and points
towards the north. Table 4 lists the coordinates of the twenty
receptors, and a breathing height of a human, approximately 1.8 m,
was used as the z-coordinate for the effect on human health.
