Part II: Look Who's Talking Now (1/26-2/9)
One of most common uses of the Internet is electronic communication through e-mail and electronic conferencing. Numerous techniques exist for communicating with others for personal, social, and academic reasons. And, there are special ways of communicating on the Internet. During this part of the course, we will examine various communication technologies like e-mail, usenet, listservs, IRC, MOOS, as well as issues of netiquette and how to get what you want.
