Writing the Information Superhighway

Evaluation

During this course you will write four revised papers, write a number of shorter informal ones about your Internet experiences and readings, and participate in e-mail and electronic conferences. Thus, you will be doing a significant amount of writing.

At the end of the course you will submit a portfolio of your writing the grade on which will represent your final grade for the course.

Throughout the semester we will have several scheduled one-on-one conferences to discuss your writing and general progress in the course. In addition, I will offer written feedback on certain drafts. I will do the best I can to keep you updated on your progress in the course, and while I hesitate to give grades on particular papers, I will offer graded feedback to those who feel they really need grades to gauge their progress.

There will be no quizzes, tests, mid-terms or finals.
