The Bob Mueller Memorial Tennis Award

The Bob Mueller Memorial Tennis Award was established in 1999 by Bob’s family and friends as a tribute to his lifelong participation and support of tennis in the Ann Arbor community.

All participants of the Ann Arbor City Junior Tennis Tournament and the AAACTA Middle School tennis program are invited to submit an application for this annual $500 award. The award will be given to a deserving junior player (17 and under) to partially offset the cost of a local tennis camp or for private instruction.

The winner will be selected by the AAACTA Award Advisory Committee based on the player’s statement, financial need, potential for development and sportsmanship. Presentation of the award will be made at a fall Ann Arbor Area Community Tennis Association meeting.
