Winter Term 1999

Topic paragraphs may be turned in via email; papers must be submitted in hardcopy. Topic paragraphs should include (minimally) a thesis sentence and the source materials you expect to use (including which section(s) of the Bible/Torah you will be addressing.

Grading is out of a total possible 150 points.

Topic for first essay must reach Vika not later than February 1, 5 pm.

First Essay: Thursday, February 11, at the beginning of section.

This essay is worth 20 points.

First Exam: Monday, February 22 during class time (11-noon)

This exam is worth 25 points.

Topic for second essay must reach Vika not later than March 8, 5 pm.

Second Essay: Thursday, March 18, at the beginning of section.

This essay is worth 25 points. 

Topic for third essay must reach Vika not later than April 5, 5 pm.

Third Essay: Thursday, April 15, at the beginning of section.

This essay is worth 35 points. 

Final Exam: Monday, April 26, 4-6 pm.

This exam is worth 30 points.
