Here are a few photos (10/08/03, 10/29/03, and 11/21/03, respectively) from the Awana Sparks Club, in which Lydia is a member (a “clubber”), Mommy is the secretary, and Daddy is the director. In the picture on the left, Daddy—the big bearded man in the background—is about to get Council Time started; Lydia is standing nearest the camera on the lower right. In the middle picture, Lydia is sitting in Mommy’s lap during a magic show by special guest Sheldon Rhodes, who is also the man who taught Daddy how to juggle. In the picture on the right, Lydia is posing with her “goldfishmobile” from the Sparks Drive-In Movie night. Note: on Wednesday, April 28 we had our Awana Awards Ceremony, and Lydia received her 1st Book Award (a blue ribbon) for finishing her Skipper Book!
Lydia is as a member of the Girl Scouts of America. She started in Daisies, but has since moved up to Brownies. Her troop leader is Mrs. Morris. She’s learning:

Update: Daisies has just (6/3/2004) finished; Girl Scouts will start up again in the fall, and Lydia will be with the Brownies.
