Introduction

Turkish literature is very rich, but not widely available in English language translation. Poetry in the Turkish language is quite varied, including folk poetry, poetry of the Ottaman court, as well as contemporary poetry. The following selections, which are some of my favorites, can be accessed from the menu below.
