Undergraduate Summer School on Homological Algebra of Mirror Symmetry

Fields Institute

The Undergraduate Summer School on Homological Algebra of Mirror Symmetry (HAMS) will take place July 29-August 2, 2019 at the Fields Institute in Toronto. The summer school is part of the Thematic Program on Homological Algebra of Mirror Symmetry. Tyler Kelly (University of Birmingham) and Ursula Whitcher (American Mathematical Society) are co-organizers. Amanda Francis (AMS) is an invited speaker.

Mirror symmetry is an active area of research mathematics aimed at understanding certain dualities predicted by theoretical physicists. Students who have a background in abstract algebra and are curious about physics are encouraged to apply.

If you have questions about the summer school, please contact hams @ yarntheory.net .
