Bom (1/1/1930) and raised in a rural village near the town of Debre Tabor, Gondar Region, Ethiopia. Married to Tsehai Wolde-Tsadik; three children, U. S. Citizen, 1981.

  • 1959: M.A., Andrews University, Human Development and Curriculum
  • 1957: B.A., Avondale College, New South Wales, Australia. Education
Language Competencies:
Amharic (native language) and English; understanding of Tigrigna and Oromogna (other Ethiopian languages); reading knowledge of German and French.
