It appears that Michael Hayden will be confirmed as Director of Central Intelligence. Unfortunately, not one senator in committee asked him about his background in science.

Two Out of Three Americans Prefer Clinton to Bush

What I find interesting is that Bush's approval in each category mirrors his overall approval ratings. In other words, only the hard-core Bush dead-enders say he's doing a good job and doing it better than Clinton.

But, can't we also say that the Clinton haters are the very same Bush lovers? That their irrational hatred matches their irrational love? Irrational is the key word.

I also noted that Bush is perceived as only slightly more honest than Clinton. Man, that's gotta hurt.

Thank You, Patrick Fitzgerald

Karl Rove has informed the president that he will be indicted and will resign his White House post, according to Jason Leopold at Truthout. Leopold has doggedly followed the Plame scandal and has scooped major news outlets in his reporting.

Update: Rove has been indicted.
