Good Publicity for One of My Friends.
Jeff is a friend of mine who runs the re-enactment camp at the Heritage Festival. I have tried to joke with him about this so I can safely warn you: do not try to joke with Jeff. Jeff is serious about re-enactment.
Another friend, Andrea, will be playing flute in 19th century garb at the camp on Friday night around 7:30. She's very good. If you see her please tell her that Eric sent you. It will freak her out. :-)

There was also a good story about John Delcamp, reenactor, in yesterday's Community section. It doesn't appear to be in the online version, though.
I'm sorry I missed that story about the old goat, and he's usually colorful in print. But isn't he the typical spokesman for the reenactors? Maryd?

Old goat is busy with the "World Music Tour (Frog Island, Sat 6-10), and the Children's Talent Show Sunday afternoon at Frog Island.
The Civil War re-enactment group the 17th M.,, are busy at the Jackson event the following weekend.
This years ancestors sound very enticing.
