I Used to Think That Wolf Blitzer Had the Best Name in Broadcast Journalism

But that's old skool. The best name in broadcast journalism belongs to the BBC's Damien Grammaticus.

How 'bout Christine Amampour? Or Snigdha Prakash? Or Sylvia Poggioli? I love those names!

I love their names, but mostly I love the way they pronounce them. Sylvia, in particular, is so sensuous. And I always thought, by her pronunciation, that the name was Snig Daprakash. :-)

But "Grammaticus" for a journalist (or any wordsmith) is just fate accompli, no?

I thought exactly the same thing about Snig!

And, yes, I do love "Grammaticus." Sounds more like an English teacher's name, though :)
