In 1997, a freed prisoner had twenty-four hours to rescue the President from New York's Manhattan Island, which had become a maximum security prison.. The President's plane crashed on the island, and Snake Pliskin, a prisoner and soldier of fortune, was sent in to rescue him. We now honor the Snake with admission into the IRC Poker HOF.

The Snake contended with roving bands of armed convicts, as well as a 24 hour deadline, by which he had to rescue the President, or else.

When Snake found the President, in the custody of the self styled King of New York, Snake was also taken prisoner. With the help of a smart guy named "Brain", and a tough gal named "Maggie", Snake got himself and the President out of the clutches of the King, and over the wall to safety, with only moments to spare before the 24 hour deadline.

This experience prepared the Snake for his next challenge which has not been matched, as the champion wigger on Dalnet. He holds the record of three wins. He also won an UnderNet tourney. He is from Vancouver, BC Canada so being a hero from a movie named 'Escape From New York' makes no sense and you get the picture.
