I am the Chief Information Officer for the University of Michigan Medical School. From 2004 to 2010 I was the director of the Office of Enabling Technologies at the Medical School. Before coming to the Med School, I spent eight years on full-time assignment to Internet2.
Before Internet2 I worked at the University of Michigan Information Technology Division (now called Information and Technology Services) where up until January 1997 I had a wide variety of responsibilities as a Director/Senior Manager of the Division, including serving as director of the Center for Information Technology Integration.
I received my bachelor's degree in Biology from Boston College and my Masters of Business Administration from The University of Michigan. I am in the doctoral program in the U-M School of Information. My hobbies are travel, photography, cooking, and reading.
