I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Michigan in 2012. I am currently a post-doctoral researcher at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics at University College Dublin.

My research interests cover a number of topics in computational linguistics, particularly how language technology can assist in linguistic research. In my dissertation, I explore how to leverage minimal amounts of data in order to perform morphological analysis as a means for creating richly-annotated corpora in the target langauge.

Before coming to Linguistics, I earned dual undergraduate degrees in Electrical Engineering and Classical Languages and Literature from U-M. After graduation, I worked at the University of Michigan Papyrus Collection, and I spent two summers in Amman, Jordan working on the Petra Papyri project.
