Inwards

Tatiana Calixto

2011

Inwards.  Towards you. Keep a good pace. Keep turning the spindle inwards.

It takes a few mistakes to learn to spin yarn in the Sierra Nevada and to understand what “inwards” mean.

Why is it that here we spin inwards, and not outwards like in other cultures I’ve seen?

Inwards is how the Great Mother and Kaku Serankwa taught us.

They must have known, thousands of years ago, that the Earth rotates “inwards.”
