Cricket
I mainly play as a fast bowler and a quick run getter. I have played from
my hostel team for all five years of my stay in IIT Madras. I just got
a bronze medal in my first year. I play with the Ann Arbor Lions Club
in the Michca league.
Field Hockey
I started Field Hockey after a year of my undergraduate program.
I played for my hostel team in 3rd, 4th
and 5th year and for IIT Madras in 4th and 5th year. I have played as a
right inner, left inner, right out and center forward. I have won
- silver medals in Inter IIT tournaments '02-'03 an 01-'02
- gold medals in inter hostel hockey tournaments '00-'01, '01-'02
and 02'-03
- silver medals in 6-A side hockey '00-'01, '01-'02 and gold medal
in '02-'03
In Michigan, I play with the Recreational
Field Hockey Club.
Soccer
I like this game a lot but do not have a high skill set. Yet, believe in fast
passing games. I have played from the hostel in my last two years but never won
any medal. In Michigan, I sometime drop down to the Fuller Park and join a
group to play soccer.
