[Scene 2: Somewhere on Naboo] Ben Kenobi: "Nothing gave Amidala as much pleasure as ordering Anakin around."

Amidala: Slave boy, polish my R2 astromech droid. I want to see my face shining in it by morning.

Anakin: As you wish.

Ben Kenobi: "'As you wish' was all he ever said to her."

Amidala: Slave boy, fill these with water-please.

Anakin: As you wish.

Ben Kenobi: "That day she was amazed to discover that when he was saying 'As you wish', what he meant was, 'I love you.' And even more amazing was the day she realized she truly loved him back."

Amidala: Slave boy-fetch me that pitcher.

Anakin: As you wish. [She smiles and the scene segues to sunset. Amidala and Anakin kiss.]

[Luke's Bedroom on Tatooine]

Luke: Hold it, hold it! What is this? Are you tryin' to trick me? Where's the sports? [Luke looks at Ben gravely] Is this a kissing book?

Ben Kenobi: Wait, just wait.

Luke: Well when does it get good?

Ben Kenobi: Keep your shirt on, let me read. "Anakin had no money for marriage, so he packed a few belongings and left the Naboo to seek his fortune as a Jedi Knight on Coruscant. It was a very emotional time for Amidala."

Luke: I don't believe this!

[Back on Naboo]

Amidala: I fear I'll never see you again.

Anakin: Of course you will.

Amidala: But what if something happens to you?

Anakin: Hear this now: I will always come for you.

Amidala: But how can you be sure?

Anakin: This is True Love. You think this happens every day??

Ben Kenobi: "Anakin didn't reach his destination. His starship was attacked by the Sith Lord Vader, who never left captives alive. When Amidala got the news that Anakin was murdered,--"

Luke: Murdered by Sith Lords is good.

Ben Kenobi: She went into her room and shut the door, and for days she neither slept nor ate."

Amidala: I will never love again.

[The Main Square at Theed Palace. Senator Palpatine and Chancellor Valorum stand on the balcony]

Ben Kenobi: "Five years later, the main square in Theed was filled as never before to hear the announcement of the great Senator Palpatine's bride-to-be."

Senator Palpatine: [Moves toward edge of balcony and begins addressing the crowd] My people, a month from now, our planet will have its 500th anniversary. On that sundown, I shall marry a lady who we call our Queen. The circle will be complete; the Senate and our royal house one. Would you like to meet her?

People: Yes!

Senator Palpatine: My people, Queen Amidala.
[Amidala enters, wearing crown and gown.]
