This program uses Reuter's RSS feeds to display world news locations on a map and provide the user with the headline of the story.

The program is in it's beta version currently.

Currently only Reuters news feeds are supported due to the format-specific interpretation of the story location.

Cities are matched with longitude and latitude coordinates stored in a text file database. Therefore, only major world cities will be located on the map.


The final version of World News Viewer will include:

	-Links to full news articles
	-Ability to add additional news feeds
	-Past news stories index
	-Animated effect "flys" to the location of the story
	-Smoother map scrolling animation
