- A forum for those with limited mobility of any kind, according to the list owners, designed to facilitate interaction among the mobility impaired.

- Listing of Disability Groups
- Description:
- A list of disability groups in and around Champaign County, Illinois, prepared by the staff of the Self-Help Center at Family Services.
- Over 20 groups are listed by county and include resources for those dealing with autism, blindness, cerebral palsy, deafness, head injury, Down Syndrome, and physical disability. The purposes of the groups, names, addresses, and phone numbers are provided.

- Discussions of all aspects of family life as they are affected by the blindness of one or more family members. - Description:
- For those with hearing loss, family and friends, and people who work with the hearing-impaired.
- Discussion of Deaf culture, various communication methods, medical procedures to increase hearing ability. The new Miss America as a role model was a hot topic in Fall 1994. While generally welcoming, exchanges can grow heated at times, and there does not seem to be an official list leader who actively works to calm things down.

- For persons interested in Dual Sensory Impairment (Deaf-Blindness).
- Participants include professionals, family, friends and caregivers, and several individuals with varying degrees of DSI. List traffic goes in spurts; postings tend more toward information than conversation, i.e. newsletters, reports from camps and conferences, research announcements and requests. Requests for personal advice or feedback do recieve supportive responses, however. Occasional job announcements.

- Wonderful archives of articles, resources lists, and help guides for listserv users. Threads have included help in dealing with medical bureaucracy and coping with symptoms such as chronic pain and dizziness. The participants are generally very supportive; one brief flame war in a month of subscribing.
