- This was the first book from Amanda Quick that I ever read, and even before I knew she was Jayne Ann Krentz, I LOVED the book! I loved the herbalism facts that she put in the book. Sophy was and still is one of my favorite JAK characters. She is spunky, sweet and determined. I also liked the treatment of the secondary characters in the book and I have been waiting for a story about Gideon and Sophy's friend, (hint, hint) (S.B., 5-26-98)
I always give her books a 5. After all they do deserve it. People always look at me funny when I read her books. Maybe it's because I do a lot of laughing out loud! Keep em laughin', AQ! (L.W., 5-19-98)
Her books are the ones I read over and over and still have a great time in reading. Once I crack the book open I can't close it or take a break. Her books are funny and a great example of what are my favorite romance novels. (N.S., 1-26-98)
I have read every Amanda Quick Book and love them. I have read them
over and over again. (T.C., 1-6-98)
I love Amanda Quick's books and this one was not exception. It was funny and entertaining. A definite keeper! (C.G.I., 5-21-97)
I love all of her books! I love books where the heroine is feisty, intellegent and ends up teaching the hero a lesson in love! Amanda Quick's books are fast paced and humorous, never boring. After I read her books I can't wait to read the next one. Keep up the good work Amanda! (J.B., 9-21-96)
This Quick's best novel. I thought the novel was great. It's not often you see such a delightful combination of romance and humor. I spent many a delightful afternoon chuckling over the antics of the heroine. (D.K., 8-3-96)
The first of Quick's book and rather original of her style. The characters are cute but overly done at points. Generally, a good starter for non-Quick readers. (C.N.C., 6-4-96)
