- I don't care what anybody says, Amanda Quick is hilarious. I think it's safe to say if you can't laugh at the aristocrats who can you laugh at. If the nobility were vain, shallow, and just plain nose-in-the-air silly, then my history books are all liars! Amanda Quick just shows you that everyone was not in the same bag back then. (L.W., 5-19-98)
Of all her books this is my favorite!! I love Harriet, she is so unique and blunt! I love all of Amanda Quick's heroines. All her characters are so funny and all have there own very unusual personalities. Her books are my antistress therapy. Thanks !! (I.T., 2-25-98)
Ravished is not as good as other novels by Amanda Quick. For me the hero was clumsy and nothing else. (P.M., 1-21-98)
This is by far the most enjoyable book Amanda Quick has written to date.
I have read all of her books, but this one sticks out in my mind as a
prime example of her works. I tell everyone to read this book! (T.S., 5-25-97)
RAVISHED was my 1st Amanda Quick book. I love the plot, her characters interplay, and the "twist" for each character's description! RAVISHED lead me to Jayne Ann Krentz comp. romances, and ALL of Quick's other novels. She's a really enjoyable read. I just blast through her books. Have fun!(C.E. 5/19/97) (C.E., 5-19-97)
I HAVE ALL QUICK'S BOOKS AND THIS IS MY VERY FAVORITE ONE. i HAVE READ IT SEVERAL TIMES AND ALWAYS ENJOY IT. (A.B., 3-18-97)

Another winner by Amanda Quick. Her books always make me feel better. They make me laugh and take me to a place where I can forget about the stresses of everyday life. I've read almost all and this one is my favourite. I (S.A., 2-9-97)
A wonderful read. I reread it every 6 months for the totally soothing
effect it has on me; leaves me warm and fuzzy. (Y.P., 1-4-97)
I liked this book because it treated romance to a new perspective. It was very interesting, but a tad bit predictable. I really like the couple, they appeal to me because not everyone can be poplular and well liked. The only thing that really bothered me is it had too quick of an ending. (K.I., 11-20-96)
Exciting and fast paced story, with a good plot. Informative of the times as well as a thrilling adventure. (F.G., 11-5-96)
I love almost all of her work, but this is one of my special favorites! (Y.N., 10-18-96)
This is one of my all time favorite romance novels. (C.B., 10-11-96)
I love AQ. She's one of the best and I read everything I can find. (Q.W., 10-8-96)
Loved the scene where Gideon recieved the letter from H. and decided to rush off to London. (D.W., 10-8-96)
One of my two favorite by Amanda Quick (SCANDAL being the other one). I laughed very
hard when Harriet assaulted Gideon's harassers at the ball (very much like an enraged
kitten). I've read them all; Quick is funny but formulaic. This is a good'n. (E.C., 9-6-96)
I have read it over so many times, and each time I find something interesting in it (L.G., 8-21-96)
Wonderful book.I loved it.I would recommend a friend to read it. (T.R.N., 8-19-96)
This is my favorite. Her latest, Mischief, is not as good. (M.B., 6-27-96)
Excellent!
This is the first Amanda Quick book that I bought, and it
simply hooked me! I've bought all her books since. (A.R., 6-17-96)
