- Just great! I sometimes imagine if Julie had been me.
Would I haeve faith in Zac? (A.A.A., 5-15-98)
one of the best romance novels I have ever read. But Whitney my love was even better. As someone else said, yes, McNaught's books are all similar to each other, but I love that. Her fantasy is mine and I can depend on reliving it - with wonderful variation - with each of her books. Accept Remember When, which I hated. (C.C., 3-19-98)

It is just superb. (K.K.S.L., 6-2-97)
Even though everyone seemed to love this book, I thought the plot was ridiculous and unbelievable. A movie star on the run falling in love with a school teacher? I don't think so. Julie was entirely too perfect, and the way JM incorporated the title at the end of the novel was cheesy. All the real life movie star name dropping didn't help either. Ever since this book was released, JM's novels have taken a turn for the worse. I keep wating for her to write novels like Something Wonderful and Almost Heaven again. (A.L., 5-31-97)
This is her best contemporary book to date. Zach is on a par with Clay and Julie is definitely on a par with Whitney. Julie may in fact be a stronger heroine than Whitney. I enjoyed Judith's name dropping, it was fun. I will buy Judith's books without reading the inside covers always. If she continues to give me this kind of value my money is well spent. (S.B., 5-9-97)
I loved the book but I hated how she lost faith in him, she wasn't
useing her own judgement of a man who couln't possibly be capable
of such a thing. I would like to read a book about Paul, the
FBI agent, someone who is not in the wealthy elite for once. (L.A., 5-1-97)
This was the very first book of Judith McNaught's that I read. I really love her writing. It feels like you are right there in the story with the characters. I have gotten several more of hers to read and will keep on buying her books. Perfect is a great love story. It shows how rough or good a relationship can be. (L.D., 5-1-97)
I love this book so much I couldn't tell you how many times I've read
it. But I've read it so many times that I tore the cover but I still
have it. I read it periodically. (X.H., 4-16-97)
Perfect was the best book that I have ever read in my entire life with Whitney My Love and Something
Wonderful coming in with a close second. I have read Perfect at least fifteen times and everytime I fall in love with Zachary Benedict
all over again. I love the tenderness that Zack, Jordan Townsende and Clayton Westmoreland show their wives and I love Julie, Alexandra and Whitney's spirit and wit.
I didn't like Remember when all that much. I am eagerly awaiting your next book. (A.S., 4-14-97)
To me the theme of this book was unconditional love and exceptence, also understanding played a big part in it.I loved this book so much that I chose to use it to write my semester project for Modern Lit. class, a 10 pg. typed paper. I'm more of a poet so papers like that don't come easy for me, hopefully it will be fun to write about a book that touched my soul the way this novel did. If you havn't read it yet you should!!!!! (J.M.P., 4-11-97)
I love reading all of Ms. Mcnaught's books. i have a complete collection.
I hate missing one copy. I love you Ms. Mcnaught !!! (G.S., 4-4-97)
I found this book to be very entertaining and romantic, although Whitney, My Love was the best I've read so far! (S.R., 3-30-97)
Um, I hate to make trouble here on this truly glowing review page,
but was I the only one who had difficulty swallowing the way this
heroine betrayed the love of her life to "save him from himself"?
And how many actual human-type guys do YOU know who would consent to
sit through a video of the woman who did such a thing to them --
AND THEN GIVE HER A SECOND CHANCE BECAUSE OF A CONVINCING SHOW OF
TEARS???? Sorry, but even great McNaught dialogue can't cover up
gaping holes in characterization. This was a "2" for me! (S.R., 3-20-97)
reading PERFECT: the best way to spend the 21 hour train ride from southern ontario to Armstrong in northern ontario. read it: you'll laugh and cry with the rest of us (R.M., 3-13-97)
My very favorite book from my very favorite author! I will read it many many times! (R.R., 3-12-97)
I LOVE ZAC !!!!!!!! (S.C., 3-12-97)
This book made me laugh, cry, and feel every other emothion possible. Julie and Zack are the best couple. This is Judith's best work, definatly. Although Almost Heaven was up there. I must say Remember When really dissapointed me. (M.B., 3-9-97)
I loved PERFECT. It was the best Judith McNaught I've ever read. I, too, was disappointed with REMEMBER WHEN, but I axiously look forward to her next one. PERFECT was her absolute best. (L.W., 3-1-97)
This is my absolute favorite McNaught book. I recommend it to everyone. I was terribly dissapointed with Until You and not exceptionaly pleased with Remember When. Paradise, Whitney My Love, and Double Standards are other faves. (A.H., 2-22-97)
This is the book that got me hooked on romance novels. There is none better then this offering. Although, I have been a little disappointed with later offerings I still love Judith's books. (S.J., 2-6-97)
My mother gave this book to me when I was in the hospital recovering from a pulmunary embolism about 3-5 years ago. I absolutely loved it. The book touched my heart so much that I became a literacy tutor for teens and homeless adults a few months later. Ever since reading this book, I was a true fan of Judith's. However, for a few reasons I became dissappointed with her, 1) she nver wrote me back after I wrote her about how she changed my life(though I hear she hates writing) and 2)I was very dissappointed with Remember When which I waited many, many months to read. However I would read this book 1,000 more times (I've already read it about that much)and I would recommend it to all!! (A.B., 2-1-97)
I TRULY ENJOYED THIS AWESOME BOOK!!! IT IS A CLASSIC LOVE STORY OF LOVE ENDURING IT THROUGH GOOD AND BAD TIMES. IT'S THE BEST I'VE READ IN A LONG LONG TIME. I COULD JUST READ IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. TOO BAD THEY DON'T MAKE A MOVIE OUT OF THIS BOOK. IF THEY DO MAKE A MOVIE, I HOPE NOBODY FAMOUS PLAYS ZACK. I THINK AN UNKOWN ACTOR WOULD BE MUCH BETTER THAN A FAMOUS ONE, DON'T YOU THINK? (0., 1-29-97)
I was thoroughly entranced!! I could not put it down! I rate it her best book with Paradise a very close second! (V.F., 1-8-97)
I was totaly absorbed with this story. When the duo were seperated by ignorance, I actualy threw the book across the room in frustration. 30 seconds later i crawled over there to pick it up and continued reading. I loved it!!! (K.A.B., 1-4-97)
First book by McNaught I had read in a long time. I went out and bought two more! She had such good characters in Zack and Julie. I really liked this book a lot!! (K.K., 1-2-97)
I read ALL your books- Perfect was my 2nd favorite-PARADISE
was the Best book I have EVER read and probably ever WILL! (R.R.R., 12-27-96)
Perfect and Paradise are my favourite McNaught books. I've read both several times and I practically force all my friends to read them too. (A.D., 12-26-96)
This was one of my favorites, but then again, they are all my favorites. McNaught really knows how to grab her audience. (C.B., 12-18-96)
Without a doubt one of the best books I've read. I thoroughly enjoy Judith McNaught and automatically buy each new book as soon as it comes out. I've yet to be disappointed . . . well, not TERRIBLY disappointed anyway! (D.H., 12-12-96)
One of McNaught's best contemporaries--of course, I could do without the paparazzi name-dropping, but I guess that's a minority viewpoint.-- (E.P., 12-9-96)
