Kaite (K.S., 5-13-98)
I love all Of Johanna Lindsay's Books. She writes excellent books with well thought out plots. She can be both humorous and make you cry in the same breath.Read both Man of My Dreams and it's sequel Love Me Forever. Both Exellent reads that I reccomend to all my friends and family.Have even helped perfect strangers looking for a good read,by pointing out her books. Can't wait for her next Book to come out have all of them so far and can't wait for her to write more.Especially about the Mallory's. (K.P., 4-19-98)
I love every single one of Johanna Lindseys books. Everything she writes is amazing. I can't wait until I get new material from her. She is the queen of romance. (W.O., 3-30-98)
This book is great because Lindsey writes with intelligence and humor as well
as passion. My only peeve about this book is that both Devlin and Meggan are
such perfect gorgeous people. However, Lindsey is by far my favorite author.
I LOVE THE MALORYS. IF I COULD I WOULD MARRY JAMES. I also love the Andersons
as well which she introduced in Gentle Rogue. I reread her books all the time
and I never get tired of them. Last Christmas when "Say You Love Me" came
out, I told my parents that all I wanted was that book. Although I was somewhat
disappointed in her portrayal of Derek, I am waiting faithfully for Jeremy's
book. (S.Y., 3-30-98)
Man of My Dreams is a beautiful tale filled with laughter, heartache, adventure and of course, love. I've read it over and over numerous times. Johanna creates a setting in her books that take me away from the crazy world around me. Ever since my very first romance novel, Captive Bride, I've been a loyal reader. Keep it up Johanna! (C.C., 3-21-98)
I have become very disappointed in JL's books. I liked this one OK, Love Me Forever was much better and the Mallory ones are OK. She has become so formulaic--I borrowed her latest in hard back--it was funny up to when Judge Roy Bean married them--then I glanced ahead and saw it was the same old same old for the next 200 pages. I ended up skipping to the end and taking the book back. JL needs to find a new formula. Something along the lines of Love Me Forever. (L.H., 3-15-98)

I always enjoy reading her books and many times read them four or five times. (L.B., 3-13-98)
This book, as are all of Johhana's other books, is great! One thing I especially love about this book is that the heroine constantly argues with herself about a situation, and I do that ALL the time! (J.S., 3-10-98)
This was an amazing story. It had me fooled for a while, but I finally figured out who Devon really was. It was also a good laugh when she married the man that she had set her cap on. Even if she didn't know it at the time. I am also a devoted follower of Ms. Lindsey and I try to read as many books of her's that I can find in my home town. All her books are amazingly well detailed and leave you wanting to know what happened to the characters in that book. Like in Hearts Aflame, I would love to know what happened with Royce and Kristen and their children. And Royce's little sister too. (P.R., 3-6-98)
Ihave also read all of johanna lindsey's books! NOONE in the field
of writing today can compare.I read this one several years ago, but
Man of my dreams will always be my favorite!!!!!!!!! (K.S., 3-4-98)
By far the best Lindsey book. I've been reading her books since I was ten
and I always have a great read to look forward to.She is truely the best
author. Every book is a delight. I should know I've read them all and
never had a problem with any of them. (M.L., 2-20-98)
My daughter & I love your books! We can't wait for the next one! We fight over who is going to read what over again! We love the Malory family especially!! Write us more!!!!! (I.T., 2-25-98)
The book was great. The Malory novels are however my all time favorite. I need to know how many there are and in what order they go... (L.L., 2-22-98)
I've been a devout follower for years. Your books are my escape from the hectic world we live in, thank you Johanna. I have only one question, WHERE HAS ALL THE COVER ART GONE? ESPECIALLY FABIO. It really help you get into the story when you have a tastfully erotic work of art to go by... (N.S., 2-17-98)
Great book but I don't expect any less from her! I laughed all thru the story! I have read all of her books. I especially like the ones that combine Sci-Fi and romance! (S.S., 2-4-98)
LOVE ALL HER BOOKS! MY FAVORITE ONE IS TENDER REBEL IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT YOU'RE MISSING OUT! (R.P., 2-1-98)
I'm a guy and I'm not gay or anything but I love a good romance! I was genuinely suprised when I picked up one of my sister's novels and just read a page, I was hooked! I read Man of my Dreams and loved it! I have encoraged some of my very close friends to try some of your novels. At first they laughed, but true friends that they are, gave it a try. I now have 16 friends I turned into romance junkies!
I Must tell every other guy out there, first, Lindsey's novels are great! They combine Action adventure and of corse Romance! These books are not only a scorce of enjoyment, but a great Ice-Breaker in tough conversations with girls! (K.R., 1-26-98)
I loved the book, of course I love all of your books, especially about the Mallory family, do you plan on writing more books on them I hope so, my other favorit book is A pirates Love Tristan was one pirate you could not help but fall in love with. (S.W., 1-23-98)
I more than love Johanna Lindsey's novels. I just wish I had an address at which I could reach her. Her characters are so fabulous that I feel I know them, so when I finish a book I miss them. I actually am almost mentally lonely until I can read another.
If anyone knows how to reach Ms. Lindsey, I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd share the knowledge with me. Thank you!!! (A.W., 1-20-98)
Wonderful is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Johanna Lindsey. I'm like a kid at Christmas when a new book is published. She is the only reason that I keep my membership open in my book club. (J.S., 1-13-98)
Johanna Lindsey is the only author I know of that makes you love, hate, laugh, and cry, all on the same page..I have been an avid Lindsey reader for 9 years she is and always will be the BEST in my eyes. (C.S., 6-4-97)
I just love all your books. I never read many books befor my mom "turned me on" to your writting. This is a large coment I think, Because I'm only 17, and I have been reading your books for about one year now. Love your writting,
angela (A.G., 5-28-97)
Love ALL of JL's books! She is defenetly an author that can move any where in time and have a hit. (H.B., 5-23-97)
I READ ALL HER BOOKS. I HAVE A QUESTION WHY FABIO IS NOT ON YOUR COVERS ANYMORE? (M.R., 5-21-97)
I really enjoy reading every page of Johanna Lindsay books. (M.B., 5-18-97)
What can I say? Her books are excellent. Love the Mallory clan. Love characters in one book showing up in another. Can't wait until the next one comes out! (C.T., 5-17-97)
Joanna has never let me down. Her books are therapy for the rest of us. They make you laugh they make you mad, but most of all they make you hate getting to the end. Meeting Joanna was a real treat for me. She is thoughtful and really listens to her readers and reads the letters sent her. I've got the proof. Thanks Joanna, for brightening up all those dreary days. (J.G., 5-8-97)
Great Book! I have every book that Johanna has written. Everytime I stop at the Walmart, I stop by the book section and see if a new Lindsey book is out. My daughter now has read all of Johanna's book. I would love to see a book on the younger brother in A Gentle Fueding. The Mallorys are great. (R.W., 5-1-97)
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and read it repeatedly! I couldn't help but to feel somewhat offended by the negetive comments. I've NEVER been disapointed by one of her novels, and impatiently await her new ones. I don't feel that her work suffers at all by publishing one every 6 months or so. I only wish I could find an email address of hers to write to her myself! (S.J., 5-1-97)
I could not put this book down, it not only had it serious side but it had a humorous side. I loved it, all of her books are a must read! (R.P., 4-27-97)
I was let down by this one. No chemistry until the end (Y.P., 4-26-97)
Johanna Lindsay is my all time favourite author, and I've read all her books except the two latest.
Living in South Africa, we are no longer getting many Historical
romances, and getting any Johanna Lindsay books now is like finding
chicken's teeth! At the moment I'm trying to get hold of 'Love Me Forever'
and 'Say You Love Me'. Wish me luck. (S.H., 4-24-97)
I loved Man of My Dreams but I do have to say, that anyone who publishs as many books as J. Lindsey does, is going far beyond the expectations of her readers! She really is a wonderful author but she seems to go from one time to another like the turning of a page...she needs to SLOW DOWN and take it easy. We don't expect miracles from our authors, just the best that they can do. And if that means waiting a year or more for the next novel to come out then so be it. (K.E., 4-20-97)
I've read all her books (and loved them) and her creative drive begins to wane after this novel. It doesn't compare to her previous stories and the characters are too stupid and predictable. I think she should take a break before she ruins her career. (K.M., 4-19-97)
Johanna Lindsey is the best! Everybook that she writes is full of excitement and romance. I can't wait till the next one! (M.H., 4-17-97)
As usual she has out done herself. Can't wait for her next issue. (W.R., 4-16-97)
My heart was thumping and something white overcame me when I read
Man of my Dreams! Lindsay's both futuristic and historic romances are
definitely the best and her characters are someone I could relate to..
And, Johanna, keep on up with the humorous cracks! (V.D., 4-6-97)
I loved this book..... I only wish I had read it before "Love Me Forever". I didn't know that there was an order to the reading of your books. Please tell me in which order the mallory books were written. Thanks for the great books. (K.C., 4-6-97)
I read this book with lightning speed. As soon as I was done, I just had to reread. I wanted to relive their adventure. (B.W., 4-5-97)
THIS IS MY VERY FAVORITE BOOK. I LOVE IT. I MUST HAVE READ IT A THOUSAND TIMES. I REALLY HOPE JOHANNA LINDSEY WOULD MAKE ANOTHER SEQUEL ABOUT THEIR SON OR SOMETHING JUST LIKE THIS ONE. LINDSEY IS MY FAVORITE AUTHOR. SHE'S THE BEST. (G.L.P., 3-31-97)
Loved this one Man of My Dreams, but the Mallory family is by far the
best stories, they keep getting better and the humor is still the best.
Thankyou Mrs. Lindsey for your books, can't wait for the next one. (L.F., 3-25-97)
Not as good as others. (J.F., 3-25-97)
I loved this book. I can't wait until a new book comes out, because I've read all of her books, most of them more than once. My favorite books involve the Malorys. I got all of those books, and can't wait until a new one come out. Ms. Lindsey, Keep on writing these wonderful storys and let all your fans know when they're out. I think I speak for us all when I say, You're the best! (C.C., 3-23-97)
I really liked this book!!! This was one of Ms Lindsey's better novels and enjoyed having insight to Megan's private conversations with herself-reminds me of someone I know..to the question of the sequel to this one..Love Me Forever with Kimberly Richards and Laird Lachlan MacGregor which is also a must read..it was good to see Megan and Devlin's story continue even if he was too much the Duke and not the lowly stablehand..thanks!! (P.P., 3-22-97)
It was such an excellent book that I couldn't put it down. (A.H., 3-20-97)
One of the best Lindsey's. I love all her novels but this one is fantastic. I loved Devlin and Megan , I also love the seqel about the scotsman - the name eludes me BUT READ IT !! (R.D.F., 3-19-97)
Love all your books. Best one to me was Once a Princess. Couldn't put it down. I didn't want it to end. Please write more books like this. I also love the Mallory family books. They are the best you have done. Please hurry and write more. We are all eagerly awaiting the next one. (B.E., 3-19-97)
This is the ultimate love story. I can't put it down every time I read it, just like all of her books. Keep the fantastic writing Ms Lindsay (L.D., 3-15-97)
What do you expect from Ms Lindsey ? The best !! I loved Megan and Devlin they were fun and very much suited. I have read every Lindsey book and this rates as good as them all. (F.R., 3-10-97)
A definate KEEPER!! (J.H., 3-7-97)
I love Johanna Lindsey and feel pity for anyone who complains about her books. All of her books are excellent. She never leaves me disappointed. I've read every book she's written and some of them more than once. I wait eagerly for the next. She's wonderful! L.W. 3-01-97 (L.W., 3-1-97)
There is no words to express what really terrific books Ms Lindsey writes. I loved this book and everyone I have ever read. I hope one day I can bring romance alive the way you do in my own writing. Keep on writing. (A.L., 2-26-97)
Mrs. Lindsey is one of the best authors of this time. I have read everyone of her books except Warriors Women. I have gotten all my friends and even my husband to read her books. I can't wait until her newest books are released. She truly inspires me, and has even unknowingly convinced me to become an author myself. (S.D., 2-24-97)
I loved this book and all of Ms, Lindsey books. But I'm still trying to find out the sequence of books in her Mallory series.Any help would be appreciated. (D.B., 2-23-97)
The books that Ms. Lindsey writes gives me hope that someday I will meet the one, and only one, for me. (H.S., 2-22-97)
I had never read a Lindsey book before, but after reading this one, I was In LOVE, thus reading
about 15 of her novels. However, this has still got to be one of my favorites, I LOVE the sexual
tension that runs between them. I wanted to be Meghan. Devlin was the best by far. This is a
sexy book. (E.C., 2-14-97)
I loved this book to pieces. I've read it a dozen times already. I can't wait for her next book comes out. I collect her books. I'm only missing the one's with the word Angel in the Title. I love the Malory Saga and can't Wait until she writes another one. :-} (A.A., 2-14-97)
This was one of the better books that she has recently published. I get sooo excited whenever I hear that a new novel of hers has come out, but I've been very disappointed with her futuristic romance novels. I think her best books were the historical ones. (A.Z., 2-10-97)
This is one of the better Lindsays but her westerns are much better. Her more recent books are a dissapointment. I think she was better when she was in paperback and published twice a year. (N.T., 2-4-97)
This book was one of the best of Johanna Lindsey's books. Her characters are somebody you can easily relate to. I often buy her books as soon as they come out and read them right away until I could hardly open my eyes. (A.N., 2-2-97)
Johanna Lindsey is my favorite author. She blew me away when I read this one. She is wonderful! Everyone would read her books if this was a perfect world. Shes the best (L.D., 1-29-97)
I love all her books my favorite being The Magic of You. I think all her leading men are wonderful. I was hoping she would write something about Jeremy Mallory but I guess I'll have to wait. (Y.V., 1-29-97)
This was a book, that Once I picked up I couldn't put down. I really enjoyed this book because of the humor, and strength of the characthers. This is a book everyone should read, and I know they will enjoy it. (J.C., 1-26-97)
I loved this book to no end. I read it a half a dozen times, like I do with all of her books! (C.D., 1-21-97)
This is my favorite book. I had read it a thousand times and I still want more. This book is the best!!! (G.L.P., 1-16-97)
I really enjoyed this book. It was one of the first Lindsey books I had ever read and I read it in one sitting. I just finished the sequel and was equally impressed. With examples like "Warrior's Woman" which was, in my opinion, her best it's sequal and the Mallory Family sequals it is no wonder "Everyone loves a Lindsey." (P.L., 1-13-97)
I've read two continuing storys of Johanna Lindsay's, Warrior's Woman and So Speaks the Heart, one is of the mother and the other is of her daughter and I was wondering if she was going to
write one on the brother....anyone with info. please e-mail me: cokecan@netacc.net. Thanks! (R.N., 1-8-97)
johanna lindsey is the best.write more soon!! (J.B., 1-5-97)
I read and reread this book so many times that I had to tape it back together. (K.B., 1-4-97)
I reread this book when Lindsay had the sequel coming out. It is one of her better recent books. I enjoyed it as much the 2nd time around, maybe too much, because I found myself wanting to read about Devlin and his love instead of the lovers in the sequel. (G.A., 12-28-96)
Johanna Lindsey is one of my favorite authors. I own about 14 of her books and am looking forward to read more from her. Nice to know others appreciate good romantic writing. (V.P., 12-16-96)
One of my all-time favorites! Not a 'sweet prince with an even sweeter princess' story. Will appeal to younger readers who like a bit of antagonism. These were two 'real' people with 'real character traits that you could relate to. I loved the way Devlin treated her. I loved the animosity and sexual tension. I loved that these two characters irritated each other beyond belief. They both needed someone to put them in their respective places. It was great! For once, I wanted to be the 'heroine'. This guy was a real man, flaws and all. A Must Read!!! (C.B., 12-9-96)
I loved this book! I am her biggest fan, I have been for years. She gets better and better all the time. I saw her new book in the store today and had to buy it. (T.H., 12-9-96)
I loved the book, so far Ambrose is one of my favorite male characters next to the Mallory brothers and Selig. (R.D., 12-9-96)
I loved the book!!!But then I love ALL of Johanna's books. I've read most all of them as well. (S.P., 11-14-96)
Her books are totally awesome, however, I was disappointed that her
new book came out in hard-cover, so I have to wait for it to reach
paper-back in order to purchase it and buy it. (P.H., 10-29-96)
It made me want to cry because I felt the same way! (A.C., 10-27-96)
All of Lindsey's books are worth reading twice or more. She is a entertainer of hearts and maker of dreams of those who wish to dream. You haven't read a romance till you read one of hers. She will make you laugh, cry, sigh, and wish it never ends. Thank you Johanna for making my dream world so wonderful. (C.H., 10-27-96)
Joanna Lindsey has allways been one of my alltime favorites but I was not impressed with this book. I thought it was very predictable and kind of boring. Im surprized that she wrote this, its not up to her usual standareds. (T.C., 10-7-96)
Lindsey is always fun to read, especially when she has the characters
at each other's throats like this. (M.B., 10-6-96)
I loved it - but then I love all of her books :) This is one author that I never stop to consider what the book is about, just knowing it was written by Johanna is enought to make me buy the book with all hast and find a nice secluded spot to hide and read till my hearts content - to Johanna "I thank you for sharing your special gift with me and for the many many hours of wonderful reading I have injoyed and continue to do" ! (D.C., 10-3-96)
Typical Lindsey, which is to say, readable to the very end. However, not her best. (S.H., 9-30-96)
Oh man i really love it so funny, really a great romance. i too love
all of her stories. (F.S.H., 9-17-96)
I loved it, but then I loved all of hers. I find myself wantind to read it again... (N.C., 9-1-96)
It once was that i could not wait for a Johanna Lindsey book to be on the shelves, but now after very long waiting periods between books, it hardly seems worth the wait! (J.A.N., 8-26-96)
I was so fed up with this book I just skimmed the second half. I liked many of Lindsey's earlier books, but this was a pretty ordinary effort. Devlin and Megan are basically cardboard characters, and pretty silly ones at that. I'm interested that many other readers on this page have commented on the 'humour' in this book - I thought it was pretty childish stuff myself. And to the reader who wants to know why Lindsey created the Scots highwayman: the answer is so she could write a sequel about him! Flogging a dead horse, I would have thought, given how ordinary this book is, but I guess enough people will buy the sequel just because it's a Lindsey. Surely respect for readers would demand better writing than this! (E.K., 7-26-96)
It was an ok book.. although i expected more from her... she is after
all the reason why i love historical romance novels... cant wait
to read her latest one.. LOVE ME FOREVER... its always late arriving
in Australia :( (J.O., 7-22-96)
Where was the romance? Where was the sensuality? Where was the character development? And getting inside the heroine's soul (as if this "brat" had one) via italicized text was a cheap substitute for showing us real evolution of character. This couple seemed so one-dimensional, so spoiled, and so self-absorbed, it was impossible to pull for them to be together. And that attempt to create a charming Scots rogue/highwayman to abduct Megan made no sense at all, along with the fact that the Scots dialect was bungled, and the Scotsman too much like Gabaldon's Jamie Fraser gone bad. Thank goodness this was a library book that I can RETURN. (J.D., 7-17-96)
Johanna Lindsey is my favorite Romance author. Man of My Dreams was great, humerous, and compelling. I couldn't put it down, but then again, I can't put her books down even when I have read one twice before. A Pirate's Love is my all time favorite:) Want to read a great saga, read about Regina and Nicholas and the rest of their families in about 4 more novels. Everyone loves a Lindsey. Can't wait for more!! (T.F., 6-18-96)
Lindsey always has great ideas, unfortunately, she hit her peak in the
80's and has been slowly going down hill ever since. Though I
enjoyed this book, it wasn't as good as it could have been. The
heroine was too childish by far, the Hero too asinine. If you want
the best of Lindsey, read the Malloren series. I used to drool on
the storefront window waiting for the next Lindsey, no more. (J.W., 6-14-96)
Like the promo says "Everyone loves a Lindsey,"
her story's are wonderful, the second book to
Man of My Dreams, Love Me Forever is just as
wonderfully written. Enjoy!!!!
(came out in December hard back) is just as wonderful. (S.C., 6-6-96)
THIS BOOK IS SOOO GOOD YOU CAN'T PUT IT DOWN. IT IS THE FUNNIST BOOK I HAVE READ. (L.R., 6-4-96)
This was a great read; I couldn't put it down. I've read all Johanna Lindsey's book and this was one of my favorites. (J.B., 5-31-96)
This was a good book. The only problem I had with it was that Meghan and Devlin didn't seem to like each other very much until the end.
I enjoyed their dialogue very much. Johanna is one of my favorite authors so I might be slightly biased. I have everthing she has ever published in original covers. (K.C., 5-28-96)
Very funny romance! I finished it in two days. The sequel, "Love Me Forever," isn't quite as good, but likeable, too. (N.J., 5-28-96)
"Everyone Loves a Lindsey," right? You betcha! Her books are one of
a kind novels! Hard to pass her books up anytime! (T.G., 5-23-96)
I thought that this was a nice romance, it was one of the books that I ejoyed. I liked the time period, the detail with clothing for the balls attended. It was a great fairy tale. (S.G., 5-15-96)
THIS WAS A GREAT BOOK BUT ALL OF LINDSEY'S BOOKS ARE!!!! PRISONER
OF MY DESIRE WAS ANOTHER 5 BOOK BY HER, (B.D., 4-27-96)
Very good book for a "Pick me Up" (L.R., 4-25-96)
I love all of Lindsey's books. They are funny and light. (T.J., 4-21-96)
Of all Ms. Lindsey's novels, this has got to be one of my very favorites! I enjoyed reading this book from start to finish. It made me laugh so much. A beautifully funny romance. If you can't see the humour between Devlin and Megan, then I suppose you don't have a sense of humour! I told my friends to read it, too. And they all loved it. (K.K., 4-18-96)
I didn't finish this book. The plot was so unbelievable, the heroine's best friend was named Tiffany (in a historical!), and I couldn't put up with the way the hero treated the heroine. Everyone raves about Lindsey, but I don't see why. (C.K., 4-16-96) Marvelously funny! A book I couldn't put down. (F.H., 4-15-96)
