- I looked for this book for a long time. It was worth the wait. It is funny from page one to the end. I gave it to a friend and she had to buy her own copy. It's a keeper. (D.C., 3-30-98)
I loved it, especially the rescue from the "killer" microwave. I've read everything Dara Joy has written
and this is the best. (V.R., 3-9-98)
Great premise rendered humdrum by an author who is too prosaic a stylist and too weak a humorist to carry it off. Disappointing. (E.P., 2-7-98)
I felt somewhat cheated...WHY?...because I've read all these great reviews and I can't find the @#$@#$ book. Not in any new, used, or borrowed locale. HELP. (L.L., 6-1-97)
I really liked this book. But (and their is one) I wish that the herione would not have been such a push over. It seemed that when Lorgin didn't get his way, he used sex to get it. Needless to say, he did get 'it', and his way. (C.G.I., 5-8-97)
I loved this book. The characters were very appealing and the interplay between them captivating. I enjoyed the sci-fi aspect, as well as the humor. I had all my friends read it as well. They loved it!! (H.H., 4-7-97)
I laughed until I cried reading this book. It was so funny!! The interplay between the characters is at some times hilarious and at others so hot it sizzles!! Deanna was so adorable and so funny. But I thought she took a bit long making up her mind about gorgeous Lorgin!! Lorgin was so sexy but mischievous and so very confident and strong and masculine. I know if he dropped into MY living room I wouldn't curse, rant nor rave, but would thank God for my good luck, lock him in my bedroom and never let him (or me, of course) out again! As a fan of both romance novels and science fiction, yes I know it's an odd combination but people who know me understand, I found this book fantastic, a real "keeper", and want to read all of Dara Joy's other books as soon as I can get a hold of them. Congratulations on a great book!! Fabulous! (T.W., 2-18-97)
