Reader comments:
Nora Roberts is always good fun, and this trilogy is her MONTANA SKY gone-to-California. As usual, she's at her best with family characters who go "all the way back." The banter and the cutting remarks are so real and so typical of people who REALLY know one another. I always laugh out loud -- and wish more families were like the (healthy) ones you find in a Nora Roberts book. (S.R., 4-25-97) Nora Roberts is the BEST!!! I love this writer and this series. I can't wait for the next novel! You go, girl!!! (A.D., 4-7-97) Please bring out "Finding the Dream" out sooner. I can't wait. I love this series. (M.L., 3-13-97) I like Nora Roberts'work and this book is no exception. I liked the first of this set better, maybe because of the Male Lead. Josh to Byron...no contest. Can't wait to see how the third story with Laura and Mike unfolds! (D.P., 2-22-97) I enjoyed this book, although its not my favorite out of all of the other's she's written. I liked the pace and the characterization. And I believe that for the format she used, it was well written. (T.M., 2-3-97) Second in another "Born in" series, reset in California, without the Irish blarney--or charm. (It's also akin to SCRUPLES--I think this is what the British publishing industry means by S&F.) Still, a heroine with ulcers is different. It's hard to believe she can drink all that all that champagne, wine, and coffee. Thank goodness she refuses the Gatorade! (E.P., 1-22-97)
