WHERE IS THIS MAN?????? Tyber is a difficult act to follow (can any live man actually compete?) I loved this book! It is sexy, funny, tender, also exasperating sometimes with our heroine (she needs to wake up to how special our wonderful hero is). I eagerly await more from this author. (S.K., 2-5-97)
I LOVE THIS BOOK. SO FAR I HAVE EVERY THING THAT SHE HAS WRITTEN UNDER DARA JOY. HER NEW BOOK IS OUT ALREADY (JUST IN CASE SOME ONE DOESN'T KNOW.
MY ROOMMATES THINK I'M FUNNY FOR READING THESE. (H.R., 1-15-97)
This Novel was THE BEST Contemporary Romance that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Each page had me laughing and crying. Dara Joy has the potential to be one of the greatest Writers of this Century! (L.P., 1-9-97)
The characters come alive on the pages, hoping that she writes a sequel to this concerning Mills and the the hunk with cute son. Also have read Trillion and thought it was just great!!!! Can't wait for Rejar to come out. I know she also writes under Donna Lanier but can't find any earlier books by her under either name. Help? (L.J., 12-29-96)
Hilarious at first, the humor in this book then petered off into tiresome puns and innuendos that made an otherwise interesting hero seem rather childish. The investigative-reporter adventure aspect of the plot was also a minus, for it seemed highly implausible that the successful con-artist villain would himself be so gullible (also, this aspect of the book wasted a good opportunity for satire). The book did not really hold my interest, but as contemporaries go, it was still a cut above so many others I've read. (E.P., 11-18-96)
The next book is Rejar due out in February, 1997. I'm sure it will be as good or better than Trillion! (P.K., 11-12-96)
I enjoyed "High Energy" the charachters jumped right off the page.
It was funny, erotic, mysterous and very romantic. I'm looking
forward to reading more of her books. (D.N., 10-27-96)
Loved it!!! After reading Trillion I was eager to find what else she had done. I eagerly await her next. (R.D.R., 10-26-96)
This is a sexy read. I'd like to meet a hunk like Tyberius (What a Name!) (L.P., 10-4-96)
The first by this author I've read. Terrific!!! I'll snatch up anything else I can find. It was nice to see a "brainy" male be sexy - - as is my husband. Bless you! (B.K., 9-9-96)
One of my all-time favorites, along with Dara's Knight of a Trillion Stars. Can't wait for her next one. (D.P., 9-6-96)
I HAVE ALREADY READ THIS BOOK 4 TIMES SINCE IT CAME OUT! IT'S GREAT.
I LOOK FORWARD TO HER NEXT BOOK. HER BOOKS ARE A "JOY" TO READ.
I HAD TO GET TWO COPIES OF THIS BOOK--ONE TO GO ON MY KEEPER SHELF
UNDER DARA JOY AND ANOTHER ONE FOR THE SAME BOOKCASE UNDER KRENTZ.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! (E.L.F., 8-24-96)
WONDERFUL!! I would give it 10 STARS.The best contemporary
that I've ever read.I absolutely, positively, loved it.When is her next book coming
out? (T.R.N., 8-19-96)
THIS BOOK WAS SO!!!!!!! GOOD. I CAN HARDLY WAIT FOR NEW BOOK AND
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHEN THAT MIGHT BE??????? (B.D., 6-29-96)
After reading Knight Of A Trillion Stars I couldn't wait for This author's next book. I expected the characters to be basicly the same. Thank God, I was wrong! They were even better. (C.A., 6-18-96)
Having read her Futuristic I was expecting nothing short of the best from HIGH ENERGY and boy was I right!!! I love her unique characters and original plots. Give me more!!! (A.T., 6-11-96)
Very sexy, funny and fast moving. I loved it. While I found some of the characters' misunderstandings to be a bit strained, the quirkiness of the characters, and the sensual appeal outweigh all other factors. (B.A., 6-5-96)
One of the sexiest books I've read in years. Wonderful, sexy physicist who uses lovemaking to teach the heroine about physics principles. He can come teach me any old day. Loved this book and will put it on my keeper shelf. Funny and sexy, lots of eccentric characters. (D.N., 5-12-96)
Funny! Good story line! I can hardly wait for the next book. Will there be a sequal about the friend, Mills, and the brother with the cute boy? (J.W., 5-12-96)
This was one of the funniest books I've read in years! (T.C., 5-10-96)
I was caught by surprise with Dara Joy's "High Energy." Never having read her work before, I didn't know what to expect. The story captured my interest immediately. I became totally involved and didn't want the story to be over. I'll read anything else I can find by this author. (S.K., 5-3-96)
