Reader comments:
Great book, only the 1st Amanda Quick I've read, although I've read many of Jayne Ann Krentz, I think I do prefer Quick's Historicals though. I'm onto Mystique next :) (R.J., 4-19-98) I can't give her books anything, but a 5. This was the first book that I ever read of hers. Since this one I have started collecting lettered romances. You da bomb! (L.W., 5-19-98) Great book, only the 1st Amanda Quick I've read, although I've read many of Jayne Ann Krentz, I think I do prefer Quick's Historicals though. I'm onto Mystique next :) (R.J., 4-19-98) As with all her books, I loved it,not as much as the others but I still kept it to read again !! I can't wait to read some more! (I.T., 2-25-98) I really enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone. Very romantic and surprising. (A.B., 5-31-97) FABULOUS! What can I say. I especially love the twist at the end with Thurston and the Abbess being Gareth's parents. If anyone knows when Mischief is released on paperback email me at ldavies@eastcoast.net.au (L.D., 3-24-97) Great book, I have read almost every book by Quick, unfortunately, finding the ones I have NOT read isnt very easy. I would recommend this book to anyone, the plot is excellent, the characters intriguing, the setting dreamy. (R.A.H., 2-8-97) This book was really good. Amanda Quick bring life to her characters. The women in her books, are not weakminded and sully like those other women characters in other books. (G.P., 12-10-96) This was the first Quick book I read. I have since read them all. Her sense of humor makes up the the formula plots. Desire's wedding night/morning scene is the funniest sex scene I think I have ever read. Desire rates a 5 for that scene alone. (J.S., 12-5-96) This book was truly a joy to read, moved very well. It was the first Amanda Quick book I'd read, since then I have read all I can get my hands on!! (P.C., 10-3-96) This book was very humerous. I enjoy her writing so very much. Her wit and passion portrayed in her characters is second to none! Thank you, Amanda Quick. (B.J.A., 8-2-96) Amanda Quick has really outdone herself with this particular novel. As usual she doesn't disappoint readers with her somewhat kooky yet curiously intelligent heroine. The two main characters complement each other very well in charisma and personality. Two thumbs up for this one!!! (J.B., 7-12-96) this was the first book by amanda quick that I have ever read.. and If the rest are just like desire.. well then I must read them all.. it was so funny.. the wit of the characters was astounding. (B.M., 7-8-96)
